New managed service helps TMCs deliver a smoother hotel check-in experience, simplify reconciliation, and provide valuable data back to their clients

Plano, TX – August 2026 / NewsmakerAlert: ConnexPay, the unified payments platform that connects customer PayIns to supplier PayOuts, announces the launch of Hotel PayValet, a managed hotel payment service designed to help travel management companies (TMCs) solve one of the most persistent operational challenges: ensuring virtual card payments are delivered and verified before hotel check-in.

Every day, TMCs issue virtual cards for hotel stays expecting them to be available when travelers arrive. Too often, hotel staff cannot locate the virtual card or the required payment information, forcing travelers to use personal payment cards while TMC operations teams work behind the scenes to resolve the issue. The result is payment leakage, increased support calls, manual follow-up with hotels, missing expense data, and time-consuming reconciliation after the trip.

Hotel PayValet helps solve these challenges by combining ConnexPay’s virtual card issuing capabilities with managed hotel payment delivery. The service helps ensure virtual card payment information reaches the hotel before check-in, validates payment authorization, and provides greater visibility into the payment process, helping identify and address potential issues before travelers arrive.

“Hotel payment issues have been accepted as part of doing business for far too long,” said Ben Peters, CEO of ConnexPay. “When a traveler reaches the front desk and payment isn’t ready, everyone is affected. With Hotel PayValet, we’re helping travel management companies solve those issues before they impact the traveler by combining our payment technology with the operational expertise needed to support successful hotel payment delivery.”

Unlike traditional hotel payment workflows that rely on disconnected providers and manual processes, Hotel PayValet manages the operational work behind successful virtual card delivery. ConnexPay issues the virtual card, validates payment authorization, and works directly with hotels to verify payment information before travelers arrive. The result is less manual effort, fewer payment issues at check-in, and greater confidence for travel management companies.

Helping Travel Management Companies Solve Real Operational Challenges

Hotel PayValet helps TMCs:

  • Reduce hotel payment issues before travelers arrive.
  • Minimize leakage to personal and unapproved payment cards.
  • Reduce manual hotel follow-up through hotel verification and payment validation.
  • Improve visibility into hotel spend and simplify reconciliation with richer payment and folio data.
  • Help deliver a smoother hotel check-in experience for the travelers they support.

As both the virtual card issuer and payment delivery provider, ConnexPay provides a single point of accountability throughout the hotel payment process. Clients benefit from one integration, one contract, and complete visibility into payment activity while eliminating unnecessary middleware and maximizing rebate opportunities.

Hotel PayValet launches with access to more than 14,000 hotels through ConnexPay’s integration with Sertifi. As ConnexPay continues expanding its global hotel partner network, access is expected to grow by more than 40,000 additional properties by the end of 2026.

Hotel PayValet represents the latest expansion of ConnexPay’s managed payment services for the travel industry. By combining payment technology with managed operational support—including hotel payment delivery and verification, as well as the capture and transmission of payment and folio data—ConnexPay helps travel management companies reduce operational effort, simplify reconciliation, and spend more time delivering value to their clients.

About ConnexPay

ConnexPay is the only payment platform that truly connects customer PayIns to supplier PayOuts in real time, eliminating working capital constraints for its clients. From self-managed virtual card programs to pay suppliers through fully managed payment orchestration, ConnexPay issues more than $12 billion annually. Intelligent PayOuts’ patented technology optimizes payment economics while the unified platform reduces operational complexity. Insurance providers, vertical SaaS platforms, and other businesses managing complex payment flows use ConnexPay to orchestrate and innovate their payment operations. Learn more at www.ConnexPay.com.
