NORTHSTAR HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT & ADVISORY LAUNCHES INTEGRATED OPERATING PLATFORM POWERED BY PROPRIETARY DECISION ROOM TECHNOLOGY

Led by professionals. Powered by technology. Northstar combines institutional hospitality experience across hotels, resorts, vacation rentals, timeshare and association management with one controlled environment for stakeholder decisions and execution.

PANAMA CITY, Fla. – September 8, 2026 – Northstar Hospitality Management & Advisory today announced the launch of an integrated hospitality management and advisory platform built around two complementary strengths: deep institutional operating experience and Northstar’s proprietary Decision Room technology. Serving owners, lenders, special servicers, receivers, investors, boards and other stakeholders, Northstar brings experience across hotels, full-service resorts, vacation rental companies, timeshare and vacation ownership, condominium and association management, and multi-unit hospitality portfolios into one operating platform.

Led by professionals. Powered by technology.

Northstar’s model is designed around a simple principle: technology should make experienced hospitality leadership more effective, not replace it. Senior operating judgment drives the strategy, while the Decision Room creates the structure, visibility and accountability required to move complex assignments forward. Together, they give stakeholders both the professional experience needed to understand the asset and the technology needed to organize the path to a successful outcome.

The Decision Room: a central operating environment

The Northstar Decision Room is not an add-on to the advisory process. It is a central component of how Northstar manages complex engagements. The proprietary platform gives authorized stakeholders one controlled portal for relevant communications, diligence, documents, open questions, assignments, goals, reporting and decisions.

Ownership, lenders, special servicers, receivers, counsel, operators, boards and other participants can work from the same current information rather than fragmented email chains, spreadsheets, shared drives and disconnected reporting.

From stakeholder complexity to decision clarity

Complex hospitality assets often involve parties with different mandates, timelines and information needs. The Decision Room is designed to create a single source of truth around the asset: what is known, what remains unanswered, who owns each open item, what decisions are pending, what goals have been established and whether execution is on track. That structure is intended to reduce friction, preserve institutional knowledge and shorten the distance between identifying a problem and acting on it.

Institutional hospitality experience under one roof

Northstar was built around a broad view of hospitality. Its experience spans revenue and yield management, expense control, organizational leadership, guest satisfaction and loyalty, independent and branded strategy, full-service resort operations, vacation rentals, timeshare and vacation ownership, condominium and association management, multi-unit oversight, transition leadership, asset repositioning and turnaround execution. This breadth allows Northstar to evaluate the complete operating ecosystem rather than viewing a complex assignment through a hotel-only lens.

“Led by professionals, powered by technology is more than a tagline for us – it is the operating model,” said Marty McDaniel, CHA, Chairman and CEO of The Northstar Companies. “The professional side brings the experience to understand what is really happening inside a hospitality asset. The Decision Room gives every authorized stakeholder one place to see the same facts, the same open issues, the same accountability and the same path forward. That combination is what turns information into decisions and decisions into execution.”

Built for complex and transitional assets

Northstar supports hospitality assets facing underperformance, maturity pressure, special servicing, receivership, foreclosure, bankruptcy, ownership or management transition, repositioning, operational disruption and strategic change. Engagements can range from independent assessment and strategic advisory to operating game plans, transition oversight, management support and hands-on turnaround execution.

A visible path from diligence to outcome

Northstar’s process converts diligence into an actionable operating framework. Findings can be translated into an expanded game plan, centralized open-items tracker, stakeholder assignments, measurable 30-60-90 day goals and continuing performance reporting inside the Decision Room. Stakeholders can see not simply a recommendation, but the work required to execute it and the status of that work.

Built as a platform, not a personality-driven consultancy

Northstar is being developed as an institutional operating and advisory platform that brings accumulated experience, disciplined methodologies, specialized resources and proprietary technology together around each engagement. The objective is to give clients access to a broader Northstar operating framework – assembling the appropriate disciplines around the asset while preserving one coordinated decision environment.

Across the hospitality ecosystem

The convergence of hotels, resorts, short-term rentals, branded residences, vacation ownership and association-managed assets increasingly requires leadership capable of understanding how these models intersect. Northstar’s cross-functional experience allows stakeholders to evaluate revenue, cost structures, governance, service delivery, owner and guest expectations, management models and repositioning opportunities within the context of the entire asset.

About Northstar Hospitality Management & Advisory

Northstar Hospitality Management & Advisory provides management, turnaround, transition and strategic advisory services across hotels, resorts, vacation rental companies, timeshare and vacation ownership operations, condominium and association management, and multi-unit hospitality portfolios. The company serves owners, lenders, special servicers, receivers, investors, boards and other stakeholders. Its operating model combines institutional hospitality experience with the proprietary Northstar Decision Room – one controlled environment for diligence, communications, documents, accountability, goals, reporting and decision-making. Led by professionals. Powered by technology.
