Click&Flat partners with Minut to promote neighborly harmony with short-term rentals in Barcelona

Barcelona, 14 January 2025 — Click&Flat, a tourist rental agency in Barcelona, has today announced a new partnership with Minut to reduce noise complaints and improve relations with local communities around its properties. 

With anti-tourist sentiment rife across the Catalan capital, Click&Flat’s collaboration with Minut aims to promote harmony between visitors and local residents by addressing noise-related grievances. Minut’s privacy-safe sensors monitor noise levels and instantly alert property managers when they exceed respectful thresholds, enabling swift interventions to deal with disturbances before they escalate.

Minut’s devices do not record or store personal guest data, making them the most secure solution for noise management in vacation rentals. While most guests are respectful, Minut’s technology helps mitigate issues with occasional problem travelers, fostering an atmosphere that attracts families and culture-oriented travelers over party-seeking tourists. This approach not only supports local residents’ quality of life but also brings in additional revenue to local businesses. 

With Minut’s integration with Airbnb and property management software Icnea, Click&Flat’s team can monitor real-time insights for each property, importing booking information and automating guest messaging when a noise alert occurs, or for check-in and check-out. This significantly reduces the need for onsite visits while enhancing overall efficiency.

Click&Flat has operated in Barcelona and the neighboring city L’Hospitalet de Llobregat since 2009 and has established deep roots in communities.
