BELIZE CITY, Belize and SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., 1st July 2026 — Casago, a premier vacation rental management company with a franchise-first model, today officially launches Casago Belize, a locally led franchise serving homeowners and guests across the country as the company continues to expand its international footprint.
Casago Belize was established following the purchase of Vacasa Belize Ltd. and will be led by longtime Vacasa veterans Sheldon Arnold, President and CEO, and Rolando Guzman, Chief Commercial Officer.
Sheldon and Rolando bring deep roots in the Belize vacation rental market and longstanding relationships with many homeowners and local team members from their years working with Vacasa in Belize.
Arnold has served in senior management roles with Vacasa since 2017, bringing extensive experience in vacation rental operations, owner relationships and local team leadership. Guzman has also held leadership responsibilities with the company for several years, bringing market knowledge and revenue expertise that will support the continued growth and performance of the Belize portfolio.
The launch marks Casago’s transition of another former Vacasa-managed market to a locally owned and operated franchise partner, placing decision-making closer to homeowners, guests and the communities where each home is located.
Belize continues to attract travelers seeking Caribbean coastlines, island getaways and mainland adventure destinations. Casago Belize will manage homes across the country, from coastal and island retreats to properties that connect guests with the country’s adventure travel experiences. Under local ownership, the team will serve existing homeowners and guests while bringing faster decision-making, closer market oversight and strengthened accountability to the portfolio.
To mark the official launch, Casago Belize is hosting a local launch event in Belize with team members, community partners and tourism stakeholders. The event will introduce the new local leadership structure and celebrate the transition to a Belize-led operation focused on supporting homeowners, guests, employees and the wider tourism community. Casago CEO Steve Schwab will also be in attendance.
