🍽 Rosewood Hotel Group and Rosewood Foundation's "Rise to the Table" program will empower female leaders in the global food and beverage industry. Ten women will engage in a week-long educational experience at Rosewood Hong Kong in early March 2026, with applications closing on October 13, 2025. This residency will include business skill development, and it will be followed by a year of mentorship. Since 2022, Rosewood Foundation has upskilled over 300 women and young people and supported 60 entrepreneurs.

🌱 Grand Hyatt Singapore implemented sustainability initiatives focusing on reducing food waste by 43% in six months using LightBlue Consulting and Wisefins. The hotel decreased its carbon footprint across Pete’s Place, Straits Kitchen, and the central kitchen, diverting over 13 tonnes of food from waste and avoiding more than 34,000 kg of CO₂ emissions. Additionally, the WasteMaster 1000 was introduced, supporting a closed-loop system involving locally sourced produce and sustainable seafood, contributing to Singapore’s 30-by-30 food resilience goal.

📍 Moxy Bristol, opened in May 2022, earned a BREEAM In-Use “Very Good” certification for its sustainable practices. Located near Bristol city centre, the 214-room hotel integrates eco-friendly initiatives and responsible construction. It features social spaces, a communal work desk, a bar, a 24/7 food and beverage station, and a fitness centre. Rooms include Chromecast TVs and USB points. Positioned near Bristol’s shopping district and airport, it caters to diverse travelers.

🌍 Sep 8, 2025. Traditional summer holidays face decline due to rising heatwaves, wildfires, and extreme weather, making travel riskier and costlier. 🍳 Chef Jordan leads The Great Bustard in Wiltshire, a top UK gastro destination, emphasizing hyper-local sourcing and sustainability. Formerly of Moor Hall, he uses estate-foraged ingredients to craft menus showcasing seasonal produce. Notable dishes include the estate venison burger with charcoal mayo and truffle fries, and the estate lamb navarin. The pub engages with the local community, incorporating guests' catches into meals, and features a farm shop, treatment room, and accommodations for a complete retreat experience.

🌊 Groupe GM, an international leader in guest amenities, launches the Algotherm Hotel line, featuring products with 98% natural ingredients and enriched with Laminaria Digitata Algae. Since 1962, Algotherm has offered eco-friendly skincare. The new hotel range includes refillable Ecofill dispensers, 375ml Ecosource, and 300ml Ecopump dispensers, alongside 33ml plant-based tubes and 20g RSPO MB certified soap bars. 🏚 Mazzard Farm Holiday Cottages in East Hill, Ottery St Mary, East Devon, are on the market for £1.99 million. The estate includes a 17th-century farmhouse and five holiday cottages, converted in 2008. In 2023, it won the South West England Tourism Award for sustainability. Current owner, Ruud Venneboer, purchased the property in 2007. The UK staycation market is growing, with a 11% increase in domestic holiday trips in Q1 2025 compared to Q1 2024.

🌎 The World Sustainable Hospitality Alliance has partnered with ZEERO Group to tackle waste and emissions in the hospitality industry. This collaboration enables hotels to integrate small climate contributions within booking processes, funding clean energy projects like wastewater conversion into biofuels, reducing emissions by up to 81%. The partnership aims to scale regenerative energy projects, enhance brand value, and support global communities, driving substantial positive impacts on the environment and local economies.
