🏨 Noble Investment Group and Marriott International have broken ground on their 10th StudioRes hotel, marking growth in Marriott's extended stay brand. StudioRes is built for long-term guests, offering quick build and operation. The brand leverages Marriott’s 248 million Bonvoy members. Rising workforce mobility boosts demand for extended-stay hospitality. The first StudioRes opened in Fort Myers, Florida, with over 50 projects signed and half under construction.

🏨 Mandarin Oriental opens its Vienna hotel in late October, with 138 rooms on Riemergasse in the First District. 🏨 The Art Nouveau building, designed by Alfred Keller in 1908, has been restored, offering 86 rooms and 52 suites. 🖼️ The hotel features seven boardrooms and a 140m² ballroom. 🍽️ Culinary options, led by Executive Chef Thomas Seifried, include four concepts under Atelier 7. 🛀 The spa offers holistic treatments, with seven rooms, a couple’s suite, and fitness facilities.

🏨 Onko Chishin Inc. will open two historic onsen ryokans: IZU RETREAT in November 2025 and OTARU RETREAT in December 2025. IZU, located in Atagawa, Izu Peninsula, features 16 suites with private onsens. OTARU, in Otaru, Hokkaido, consists of 18 rooms with sodium-calcium chloride hot springs. Both properties aim to provide cultural engagement and access to Japan’s major cities. CEO Tomoki Matsuyama emphasizes their mission as storytellers of Japan's hidden treasures.

🏨 Accor and Elanor Investors Group will rebrand four hotels in October 2025. Byron Bay Hotel becomes The Sebel Byron Bay, Barossa Weintal transitions to Mercure Barossa Valley, Clare Country Club relaunches as Peppers Clare Valley, and Adabco Boutique Hotel becomes Mantra Wakefield Adelaide. Managed by 1834 Hotels, these changes aim to boost performance and guest satisfaction. The project involves refurbishments and adds to Accor's nine-hotel portfolio, enhancing brand position and commercial outcomes.

🏨 Marriott International has launched its 100th Moxy hotel in EMEA with Moxy Belfast City, the first in Northern Ireland, featuring 179 rooms. Located centrally in Belfast, the hotel showcases playful design and vibrant spaces. Opened in partnership with MHL Hotel Collection, it marks a decade milestone for Moxy, now present in 18 destinations with 100 hotels. By 2025, Moxy plans five more hotel launches across Europe, including locations in Portugal, Ireland, Germany, UK, and France.

🏠 Countrylarge is developing a 17-key, 25-bedroom aparthotel in central Harrogate, funded by a £3.6 million loan from OakNorth Bank. It will be operated by Beyond Aparthotels, aiming to be the UK's first carbon-neutral serviced apartment brand. The aparthotel will be strategically located near the Victoria Shopping Centre and public transport. Founded in 2007, Countrylarge has completed over £250 million in developments and maintains a £200 million secured pipeline.

🏠 Numa Group announced three new property signings in the UK. In 2025, it will redevelop a listed building on Margaret Street, London, creating 30 units near Oxford Street. In Edinburgh, deals with HUB will provide 117 units, including 45 units in Leith near the Royal Yacht Britannia and 72 units on Thistle Street. Numa acquired Native Places in 2024 and operates in 15 countries with 9,000 units. Future expansions are planned for Manchester, Bristol, Belfast, and Glasgow.

🏨 Chewton Glen Hotel and Spa, part of Iconic Luxury Hotels, completed a redesign of its dining and drawing rooms, led by Goddard Littlefair, in September 2025. Located in Hampshire, these spaces now feature New Forest-inspired interiors and new terraces. The refurbishment enhances guest experiences with new British seafood menus, a tasting room, and a revamped Colonel’s Bar. This is part of a larger transformation for the hotel's 60th anniversary in 2026, overseen by new general manager Guy Owen.

🏨 TPG Hotels & Resorts expanded with the Hilton Garden Inn Tampa East/Brandon, adding 152 rooms and completing a $5.5-million renovation. The hotel now boasts a heated outdoor pool, fitness center, and 24-hour business center. Three meeting rooms offer over 3,800 sq ft for events. Located in Highland Oaks business park, it's near the Florida State Fairgrounds and Seminole Hard Rock Casino. Dining options include the on-site Garden Grille & Bar and a 24-hour market.
