🏨 Limelight Boulder, the first hotel in partnership with the University of Colorado Boulder, has opened. Located in Boulder, this 252-room hotel, designed by WATG and Meyer Davis, is the largest all-electric hotel in the U.S. and aims for LEED Gold certification. With art curated by Eaton Fine Art, the hotel features a 15,000-square-foot ballroom, a rooftop pool, and F&B options like Ajax Tavern and Crepe Therapy Café. Future openings are planned in Mammoth, CA, and Charleston, SC.

🍴 In San Diego, California, the Sheraton San Diego Resort unveils Shorelight, a new restaurant in the Bay Tower overlooking San Diego Bay and northern Coronado Island. With coastal-themed interiors, Shorelight offers a menu that transitions from breakfast to dinner featuring items like omelettes, Caesar salads, spicy tuna crudo, and tiramisu. The restaurant aims to provide a relaxed, home-like dining experience, blending fresh, flavorful dishes with breathtaking views.

🏠 Kerzner International, Nolan Reynolds International, and the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) are collaborating to open a One&Only resort in Hudson Valley, New York, by 2028. Set on a 21-acre site at CIA's Hyde Park campus, it will feature 61 accommodations, including cabins and suites, and a Longevity Hub by Clinique La Prairie. The One&Only Private Homes collection will offer exclusive residences with chef’s kitchens. This follows the November opening of One&Only Moonlight Basin in Montana.

🏨 LivAway Suites, within the first 12 months, sold over 100,000 room nights, marking a major milestone. The brand launched with eight hotels and 14 more under development. Recent openings are in Draper, Utah; Renton, Washington; and Portland, Maine. By 2026, plans include 10 new hotels across Arizona, Texas, Virginia, Colorado, Nevada, Utah, and Florida, aiming for over 30 properties. CEO Mike Nielson emphasizes the growing demand for extended-stay accommodations.

🏨 The Francis Hotel in Bath will reveal its refurbished 98 rooms in November, following a £14 million redesign by 3DReid, who previously worked on Gleneagles and Cameron House. Originally Georgian townhouses, the hotel was transformed in 1884. Updates include modern amenities and a new restaurant, Emberwood, which opened in May. By 2026, a thermal spa will be added. The project repositions the hotel as a townhouse destination, blending heritage with contemporary hospitality.

🏨 Travelodge acquires two hotels in Burton-upon-Trent and Glasgow Cumbernauld, adding 125 rooms under 25-year leases. The Burton-upon-Trent hotel offers 68 rooms with on-site parking and a Bar Café near the town center. Glasgow Cumbernauld features 57 rooms off the M80. 🏨 Drury Hotels will open its newest property, the Drury Plaza Hotel Tampa Brandon, in Brandon, Florida, accepting reservations from September 2026 onward. This will be their sixth hotel in Florida and third in four years. The hotel features 210 rooms, 2,500 sq ft of meeting space, and amenities like free breakfast, Wi-Fi, and an outdoor pool. Part of Drury’s expansion in Florida, it will employ 65 staff. The Meetings with More program caters up to 300 attendees.

🏨 IHG Hotels & Resorts signed Hotel Schloss Reinhartshausen, Vignette Collection in Germany, its third in the country after Bristol Berlin and Alte Post. Located in Eltville-Erbach, 35km from Frankfurt Airport, it offers 53 rooms, nine meeting rooms totaling 380sqm, and wellness facilities. Since its 2021 launch, Vignette Collection aims for 100 hotels by 2030. Germany hosts 171 IHG hotels with 65 more in development.

🏨 Marriott International partners with HTL Gateway LLC to open AC Hotels by Marriott Ulaanbaatar, marking its Mongolia debut. The hotel, located in the Khan Uul District, opens in 2027. Features include 190 rooms, dining options, a pool, fitness center, and event spaces. Ulaanbaatar saw 800,000 international visitors in 2024. The project supports Mongolia's tourism growth and highlights its business and leisure appeal.

🏗 Construction has begun on a new 11-story hotel tower at Novotel Geelong, Australia. By 2027, the $75-million project by ERDI Group will add 134 rooms, totaling 243, making it Geelong's largest hotel. The development includes a wellness center, a 125-seat restaurant, and 1,200 square meters of event space. Regional awards highlight Novotel's prominence since its 2001 opening. Partners, including Ireland Brown Constructions, emphasize the project's role in bolstering Geelong's tourism and economy.
