🏟 Wyndham Hotels & Resorts opened Dolce by Wyndham Siracusa Monasteri Golf & Spa in Sicily, near the UNESCO World Heritage city, Siracusa. The 102-room hotel features 83 guest rooms, 14 junior suites, and 5 king suites. It offers amenities like an 18-hole golf course, a fitness center, and a spa. The signature restaurant, Le Ceramiche, is run by Sicilian chef Mirko Previtera. This hotel is Wyndham’s seventh in Italy, part of a plan to open 20 hotels in 10 years.

🏕️ Gray’s Crossing Hospitality broke ground on The Mtn Scout Truckee, a 129-room boutique hotel, in Northern California’s Lake Tahoe Basin, scheduled to open in early 2028. Huff Construction and H-CPM partner in the development, with PM Hotel Group operating under Marriott Bonvoy. Features include a restaurant, event hall, and whiskey bar. Architecture by Andrew Goodwin Designs and interiors by Sixteenfifty Creative Intelligence aim to blend with the natural surroundings, enhancing the Village at Gray’s Crossing.

🏨 The Westin São Paulo, a collaboration between Marriott International and Rede Deville, opened in Itaim Bibi, São Paulo. The hotel offers 187 rooms within the JK Square complex. Features include the WestinWORKOUT Fitness Studio, two bars, and Quint.e restaurant by chef Bel Coelho. Event spaces include eight meeting rooms, a 224 sqm ballroom, and a 223 sqm outdoor deck. With a R$240 million investment, the hotel enhances São Paulo's hospitality scene, accommodating families and pets.

🏨 The new 12-story hotel in Vervet district covers 17,300 m², featuring sustainable elements like recycled fishing net carpets, a heated rooftop running track, and Nordic Swan Ecolabel certification. The Dock 69°39 by Scandic includes a rooftop bar, wellness area with sauna, and 10th-floor restaurant. Scandic expands in Scandinavia with a 236-room hotel in Uppsala, an alpine hotel in Sälen for 2027/2028, and Scandic Go Sankt Eriksgatan 20 in Stockholm with 234 rooms.

🌳 The Social Hub opens two major parks in Florence and Rome, designed by Antonio Perazzi, with a €260 million investment. Florence features a 7,000 m² rooftop garden with 4,000 plants and a 50m pool. Rome's 10,000 m² park includes art installations and over 300 trees. The Florence rooftop opened in March 2025 and Rome's park in April. The projects enhance urban biodiversity and hospitality standards. Over 1,200 community events are planned annually.

🏨 Rosemont, Illinois—Hyatt Centric Chicago O’Hare opened after a revitalization project. Located less than 2 miles from O'Hare Airport, the hotel offers 206 guestrooms, 24-hour shuttle service, and a restaurant with a 50-seat patio. The venue features 7,600 sq. ft. of flexible event space. Managed by Maverick Hotels & Restaurants, the property emphasizes modern design and proximity to entertainment venues. Cima Restaurant blends Mediterranean flavors with local partnerships. Design by KOO Architecture and The Gettys Group.

🏨 Peachtree Group is co-developing a 10-story, 171-room Residence Inn by Marriott in downtown San Antonio, scheduled to open in summer 2026. The hotel, located in a Qualified Opportunity Zone, features studio suites with kitchens, a fitness center, meeting rooms, outdoor spaces, and a Starbucks. It provides access to San Antonio's Riverwalk, University of Texas, and local offices. The development reflects Peachtree's commitment to growth in underserved areas.

🏗️ Líbere will open 18 new apartments near Rome's Termini station by September 2025. The project, Líbere's third in Italy, aims to meet the demand for short- and medium-term rentals in tourist-heavy Rome. Italy's tourism contributes 10.8% to its GDP, with the market expected to grow. Meanwhile, Líbere will maintain the historical façade, damaged in World War II, in line with urban and heritage regulations.

🏨 Hotel del Coronado, San Diego, California, concluded the Victorian building revitalization, marking a $550 million restoration by Blackstone Real Estate. Completed in June 2025, the project involved restoring 1888 Victorian aesthetics, rooms, and event spaces, and adding new dining options like Nobu Del Coronado and Veranda. The restoration maintained historical accuracy with input from Wimberly Interiors and others. Enhanced features include a restored garden courtyard and meeting venues, blending history with modern design.

🏨 UK, Autumn 2025, Bromley: The Royal Bell, a Grade II-listed building dating back to 1666, reopens after a multi-year restoration led by The BELLE Collective. The five-floor venue features 14 boutique rooms, a bar and grill, pizzeria, and members-only amenities like coworking lounges and a fitness studio. Memberships start at £110/month. The restoration aims to blend heritage with modern hospitality, spearheaded by investors Mark Goldberg, Jon Yantin, and Nick Gold.
