Ennismore to launch first all-inclusive resort in Ras Al Khaimah

🏖 Ennismore plans to open its first Middle East lifestyle all-inclusive resort, SO/ Ras Al Khaimah, on Al Marjan Island in November 2025. The 257-room property will feature five restaurants, a cocktail bar, and event facilities for up to 345 guests. Ras Al Khaimah recorded 1.28 million visitors in 2024, up 12% from 2023, and aims for 3.5 million by 2030. Ennismore operates over 60 resorts globally, representing 25,000 rooms.

Hilton’s Tapestry Collection goes Uptown with opening of The George at Columbia

Emphasizing local culture, the hotel is the first Hilton property in Harlem, offering Digital Key and Hilton Honors perks. Sam Martinez and Andrew Nkunku are key leaders.

🏨 Hilton, Q2 2025, US, Canada: Hilton expands its lifestyle brand offerings with the new Outset Collection, its 25th brand, following Q2 data showing conversions across 10 brands accounted for over one-third of openings. Bookings for the first properties begin in November, starting in the US. Initial locations include Moab and Chicago. With 60 hotels in development, Hilton aims for over 500 in the US and Canada. Competition focuses on support, fees, and loyalty programs.

Travelodge opens first hotel in Harwich

📍 Travelodge has opened a 68-room hotel in Harwich, Essex, as part of a mixed-use development at Portside Retail Park, in partnership with The Burney Group. The development includes three drive-thrus (Starbucks, KFC, Burger King), two stores (Howdens, Screw Fix), an Air Rescue Centre, and eight EV charging points. This is Travelodge's 21st hotel in Essex, with plans for 18 more. Travelodge operates 630 hotels with over 47,000 rooms in the UK, Ireland, and Spain.

Savoy Hotel completes first phase of £45m refurb ahead of schedule

💼 The Savoy Hotel in London completed the first phase of a £45 million refurbishment of its guestrooms and suites ahead of schedule. Beginning in August 2024, Edgewater Contracts led the project, blending Edwardian and Art Deco restoration with modern design, including a new river balcony suite. The second phase starts in January 2026, ending December 2026. 50 chandeliers and original features were preserved, with bespoke joinery from Edgewater's 40,000 sq ft facility.

Leaf Hospitality to manage Hampton by Hilton Wigan

🏨 Leaf Hospitality signed an agreement to manage and operate a 144-bedroom Hampton by Hilton Wigan, part of the Fettlers development, transforming the former Galleries shopping centre site. The project, led by Cityheart and Wigan Council, includes a new market hall, over 400 homes, and a public square. The six-storey, 5,800m² hotel, designed by JM Architects and built by Galliford Try, will open in late 2027, employing over 40 staff. This marks Leaf’s 10th hotel signing.

Ennismore to open all-inclusive resort in Ras Al Khaimah

Located along the emirate's coastline, the resort will offer 257 rooms and suites with sea views and five dining concepts. Positioned on Al Marjan Island, the resort aims to attract 3.5 million annual visitors by 2030. In 2024, Ras Al Khaimah recorded 1.28 million overnight visitors, up 12% in tourism revenue.

Losehill House Hotel marks 111 years with refreshed brand identity

🏖 Losehill House Hotel celebrates 111 years with a brand revamp in Hope Valley, Peak District. The four-star boutique hotel updates its identity online, led by designer Ty Abiodun. Changes, inspired by local nature, will appear on signage, menus, and more. Built in 1914, the hotel was a countryside retreat, later pivotal in the Kinder Scout Mass Trespass. It features 22 rooms, a Thalgo spa, and a restaurant offering local dishes. Managed by Paul and Kathryn Roden since 2007.

Kimpton Fitzroy London and Fee Greening Unveil Limited-Edition Plate Collection Honouring Bloomsbury’s Women’s Rights Icons
