MGallery inaugurates its first mountain hotel in Valmorel

🏖 The project, backed by CLR Hotels and CGR Group, will see a 5-star hotel opening in Valmorel in 2027. It will feature 82 rooms, a third of them suites, with direct slope access. Managed by ABP Architectes, it will follow RE2020 ecological standards, utilizing local materials. Facilities include a 480 m² spa and a gourmet restaurant. Focused on sustainability, the hotel will support local economies, creating 43 staff units, and offering unique luxury amidst nature.

🏖 August 26, 2025, USA, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina: Voco The Shelby - Myrtle Beach opens, the first IHG voco hotel in South Carolina. Honoring Shelby Ann Byrd, it features 241 rooms with ocean views and retro interiors. The Shelby Beach Club offers a lazy river, pool, and live music on weekends. The Palm & Pebble restaurant hosts a daily happy hour from 4-7 p.m. The hotel includes 1,300 sq ft of event space with ocean views. SLH launches Wellbeing Collection and grows globally

🏨 6,000 adults surveyed in the UK, US, and Australia show 72% feel fatigued, 60% find modern life unrestful, and 89% see travel as rejuvenating. Small Luxury Hotels of the World launches a Wellbeing Collection across Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the Americas with 15 properties, emphasizing nature and culture. By 2025, SLH plans 49 new properties, reaching 620 hotels in 90 countries, aligning with its international expansion strategy.

The biggest little city in world is now home to an Echo Suites by Wyndham

🏨 Sandpiper has opened ECHO Suites Extended Stay by Wyndham in Reno, NV, welcoming guests since mid-July. This is Sandpiper’s second ECHO Suites property and part of Wyndham’s standardized extended-stay hotel brand. Sandpiper's portfolio now includes 41 properties across eight brands in 12 states and manages approximately 70 hotels in the U.S. Carter Rise, CEO of Sandpiper, praised the positive customer response and collaboration with Wyndham.

McNeill and Kothe break ground on new Home2 Suites by Hilton in Idaho

🏨 McNeill Hotel Company and Kothe Real Estate Partners began constructing a 124-key Home2 Suites by Hilton in Twin Falls, Idaho, at 2005 Neilson Point Place, with the groundbreaking on August 19. Located by the Snake River Canyon and Perrine Bridge, the hotel has direct access to the Canyon Rim walking trail. It features an outdoor patio bar with sunset views. McNeill, managing the project, partners with Kothe, Great Lakes Management Group, Roost Development, and KP Property Development.

B&B HOTELS expands in Unterschleissheim

📍 Scheduled for Q3 2027, a new B&B HOTEL will open in Unterschleissheim, near Munich. With an investment of €9.6 million from Union Investment’s UniImmo: Europa fund, this sustainable redevelopment reuses existing infrastructure, reducing costs and environmental impact. The hotel will feature 50 underground parking spaces, 10 with EV charging stations. This project aims to fill a local market gap, while adding restaurants, retail, and potentially a fitness center to the Lohhof Quartier mixed-use development.

🏖 NewcrestImage opened The Seahaus Hotel on the Atlantic City Boardwalk, New Jersey, in 2023. The 105-room hotel, under Marriott’s Tribute Portfolio, includes ocean-view rooms and is managed by Coury Hospitality. It covers a city block with 6,600 sq. ft. of retail space, and features beach access and entertainment. Dining includes CDM Bakery + Café and Cucina Del Mar. 🎵 Hard Days Night Hotel in Liverpool reopened its restaurant as North Sixty4 after an £87k refurbishment. Located on North John Street, it’s the first major update since 2008. The 98-cover venue led by Liam Baker-Bellew celebrates Liverpool's cultural history, including tributes to the Beatles. Renovations feature new lighting, tables, and decor. The menu, crafted by Jack Moss, offers grill dishes, pasta, and British staples. The redesign aims to combine casual dining with fine dining elements.
