Residence Inn Reno South opens under Azul Hospitality

Dallas Proper Hotel Residences set to open 2029

🏨 Proper Hospitality, in partnership with Lincoln Property Company, is developing the Dallas Proper Hotel and Residences, a 34-story tower in Uptown Dallas set to open in 2029. Located at 2500 Cedar Springs Road, it will feature 200 guestrooms and suites, 80 branded residences, and amenities like a 15,000-square-foot Wellness Center and a 6,000-square-foot Proper Club. Designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and Kelly Wearstler, it includes three restaurants and a rooftop pool deck.

Delano expands internationally

Surya Hotels begins first phase of £25m Theobalds Estate refurb

🏨 UK hotel group Surya Hotels is renovating Theobalds Estate near Waltham Cross, previously owned by Birch, which closed in November 2023. The £12.5m acquisition includes plans for 140 bedrooms, three restaurants, a bar, and 11 conference rooms. The completed Ridings Restaurant and Rooms is now open. Oliver Brown leads the project, which will feature a wellness club and restored outdoor Lido. Surya owns 13 UK hotels, expanding rapidly since 2009.

Delano set to expand in New York and London

📍 Ennismore has signed for Delano SoHo New York and Delano London. Delano SoHo New York, located in Hudson Square, offers 390 rooms and is a 46-storey hotel. Delano London, near Kensington Gardens, will feature 67 rooms and open in late 2026. Both hotels include wellness, dining, and retail spaces. These signings precede the Delano Miami Beach relaunch next year. Upcoming openings in Miami, New York, and London mark a new chapter for this luxury lifestyle brand.

Hotel-residence brand The Code set for December debut in Austin

CityHub expands its European footprint

🏨 Netherlands-based CityHub plans to convert the existing Hotel Pacific in Hamburg into its first German location, doubling the 52-unit site to a 110-key hotel using modular designs. Cote, the acclaimed Korean steakhouse, has just opened at The Venetian Resort in Las Vegas
