[UPDATE] Neil Jacobs steps down as CEO of Six Senses and teases a new venture

🏨 Neil Jacobs expanded Six Senses from eight to 26 properties under his leadership, with over 30 more in the pipeline. In 2019, IHG Hotels acquired Six Senses for $300 million, boosting its global presence. Jacobs integrated sustainability, pioneered wellness clubs, and will soon open Six Senses Place in London. He recently launched Wild Origins, focusing on sustainable projects, and joined Capella Hotels as a Senior Strategic Advisor. Six Senses currently boasts 27 locations with 38 in development.

Hyatt Regency Times Square Opens

The property provides 290,000 square feet of commercial space. The hotel is part of nearly 30 Hyatt locations in New York and the World of Hyatt portfolio.

Mondrian to launch first hotel in Portugal within Algarve’s Arcaya project

Rock Creek Resort to Reopen Following Renovation

Cincinnati Downtown Marriott set for 2028 opening

🏨 Portman, alongside public and private partners, has chosen Marriott Hotels to run a new 700-room hotel in Cincinnati. Due to open in 2028, it will be part of an $828 million investment in the Convention District, linked to Duke Energy Convention Center by skybridge. The hotel will feature over 62,000 square feet of meeting space and a 17,445-square-foot events terrace. Supported by the City of Cincinnati, Hamilton County, and Ohio, it's part of a $264 million revitalization plan.

voco The Club – Dublin Gateway: IHG Hotels & Resorts expands in Ireland

🏨 voco The Club - Dublin Gateway, located in County Kildare, 15 miles west of Dublin, offers 50 rooms on a 12-acre site. It features a brasserie, outdoor spa, and meeting spaces. IHG’s voco brand, launched in 2018, is expanding in Ireland with over 30 European properties and plans for more. Dublin sees 7 million international visitors annually, spurring further tourism growth. IHG also signed eight new hotels, adding 900 rooms in the UK and Ireland.
