🏨 Neil Jacobs expanded Six Senses from eight to 26 properties under his leadership, with over 30 more in the pipeline. In 2019, IHG Hotels acquired Six Senses for $300 million, boosting its global presence. Jacobs integrated sustainability, pioneered wellness clubs, and will soon open Six Senses Place in London. He recently launched Wild Origins, focusing on sustainable projects, and joined Capella Hotels as a Senior Strategic Advisor. Six Senses currently boasts 27 locations with 38 in development.

🏨 Hyatt Regency Times Square debuts in New York, owned by Argent Ventures and managed by Highgate, after a multi-million-dollar renovation. The hotel features 795 rooms, including a 969 square-foot penthouse with panoramic views. It offers a "MAMMA MIA!"-themed room and a lobby restaurant, Cue 48. The property provides 290,000 square feet of commercial space. The hotel is part of nearly 30 Hyatt locations in New York and the World of Hyatt portfolio.

🏨 Mondrian Arcaya is set to open in 2028 in Vilamoura, Algarve, Portugal. The hotel will feature 120 rooms, including 30 suites, three dining outlets, and amenities like wellness facilities and three pools. This marks Mondrian's debut in Portugal, part of its European expansion. Arcaya, led by Bondstone, emphasizes sustainable design and integration with natural landscapes. Portugal anticipates over 33 million international arrivals by 2025, boosting regional tourism and development.

🏨 In July, Rock Creek Resort in Red Lodge, Montana, will reopen after extensive renovations. Managed by Columbia Hospitality, bookings start July 27. Located near Yellowstone National Park's northeast entrance, it offers 78 rooms, new amenities, and event spaces for up to 350 guests. The project, led by David and Simona Krug, enhances on-site activities like axe throwing and fly fishing. Dining includes Wild Rose and Old Piney Dell, with upgraded menus and dining experiences.

🏨 voco The Club - Dublin Gateway, located in County Kildare, 15 miles west of Dublin, offers 50 rooms on a 12-acre site. It features a brasserie, outdoor spa, and meeting spaces. IHG’s voco brand, launched in 2018, is expanding in Ireland with over 30 European properties and plans for more. Dublin sees 7 million international visitors annually, spurring further tourism growth. IHG also signed eight new hotels, adding 900 rooms in the UK and Ireland.

📍 IHG Hotels & Resorts will open Crowne Plaza Katowice in 2026 with 178 rooms, marking its second location in Poland. Strategically positioned near Silesia City, Katowice Highway, and accessible via public transport, the hotel will cater to business and leisure travelers. It joins a portfolio of 90 open Crowne Plaza hotels in Europe and 17 under development. IHG partners with DL Invest and Hotel & More, leveraging their market expertise to expand in Poland's premium hotel segment.

🍴 Shaftesbury Capital announced Harry's Italian restaurant will open a flagship site at 11-12 Russell Street, Covent Garden, this winter. The 3,100 sq ft venue will include a large terrace for al fresco dining. Harry's will serve Italian dishes and cocktails in an elegant atmosphere. The opening complements nearby restaurants like Ave Mario and Balthazar. Recent openings in Covent Garden include ADOH! on Maiden Lane and Café Kitsune on Monmouth Street.

🎨 Launched June 2025, Meadow, by Mason & Fifth, offers creative workspaces in Westbourne Park, London. Designed for local creatives, it features Workbenches and eight lockable Workshops. Notable users include artist Nabihah Iqbal and Elimu Mas Academy. Meadow includes a Conservatory for affordable space and hosts events. Amenities include a communal kitchen, free bike storage, and a dog-friendly environment. Weekly free lunches and discounts for late workers are offered.
