🏨 Kimpton Hotel Monaco Seattle, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, is undergoing renovations to upgrade its 189 guestrooms, including 45 junior suites and an Ambassador suite. The hotel, owned by InnVest Hotels, will introduce a new restaurant concept focusing on Pacific Northwest ingredients. Inspired by Seattle's essence, the redesign includes references to Lake Washington’s Underwater Forest. Renovations will conclude by early June, followed by a grand re-opening celebration.

🏨 citizenM is set to expand its hotel portfolio to 38 properties by 2025. The first new location, citizenM Dublin St. Patrick's, will be Ireland's inaugural hotel, featuring 245 rooms opposite St. Patrick's Cathedral. In late summer 2025, citizenM London Olympia will open its fifth London hotel with 146 rooms. Both hotels will offer modern amenities, art collaborations, and "affordable luxury" in key locations, aligning with citizenM's continued growth strategy.

🏨 IHG Hotels & Resorts will open Hotel Indigo Torquay in Devon, UK, by late 2025. This will be the 26th Hotel Indigo in the UK & Ireland, featuring 153 rooms, a rooftop bar, and a spa. Part of IHG's strategy to expand in leisure markets, it strengthens their portfolio, which includes 363 hotels in the region. Torquay's seaside charm aligns with Hotel Indigo’s lifestyle brand appeal.

🏨 NYX Hotels will open a 190-room hotel in Berlin's Köpenick district by May 2025, along the River Dahme. Designed by Andreas Neudahm, it features art by Mirko Reisser (DAIM), with vibrant, inviting interiors. The hotel includes 14 event spaces totaling 912 square meters, a restaurant, and a bar. Leisure facilities include a fitness center and sauna. This expansion is part of NYX Hotels' growth in Europe, with future openings planned, including a property in Rome.

🍺 Sheraton Grand London Park Lane partners with "The Great Gatsby: A New Musical" at the London Coliseum for an exclusive afternoon tea and cocktail experience from 16 May to 7 September 2025. Located in Mayfair, the hotel offers a themed dining experience in its 1920s Palm Court, with prices starting at £65. The musical runs from 11 April to 7 September 2025, featuring stars like Jamie Muscato and Frances Mayli McCann.

🏠 Edgar Suites opens its second residence, Hameau, in Paris's 15th arrondissement at 38 rue du Hameau, transforming a former office into a 2,600 m² sustainable hospitality space. The aparthotel offers 150 rooms, from T1 to T4, certified BREEAM Excellent. Designed by Dubuisson Architecture and Studio Briand et Berthereau, it supports sustainable tourism. By 2025, Edgar plans six new French residences, with three in Paris, expanding nationally and soon to Europe.

🍖 Cedric the Entertainer and Anthony Anderson opened AC Barbeque, a fast-casual barbecue restaurant, last week in Los Angeles at Westfield Century City. This venture extends their "Kings of BBQ" TV show and retail brand. Partnering with Robert Earl and chef Burt Bachman, they offer dishes like Riverfront Ribs and AC Chopped Brisket. Previously, they launched a campus kitchen at Jackson State University and a food truck at Howard University. Future plans include expanding and franchising.

🍴 Fish Cheeks, established in 2016, opened a new 2,200 sq ft location in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, on May 13, 2025. Part of 55 Hospitality, it offers coastal Thai cuisine. The Brooklyn venue, designed by Space NY, features new dishes like tom yam noodles and marinated raw crab. Executive chef Dustin Everett, with experience from Momofuku Ssam Bar, leads the kitchen. Future expansions are planned, and 55 Hospitality will also debut Bub’s Bakery, an allergen-free concept, later this year.
