🏨 First Martin Corporation and First Hospitality opened the AC Marriott Hotel Ann Arbor Downtown in Michigan, within the Downtown Ann Arbor Main Street District. The six-story hotel features 139 guestrooms and a curated art collection. Sustainable touches include solar panels generating over 50 kWh daily. Guests can enjoy the AC Lounge & Kitchen, a 500-square-foot boardroom, and pet-friendly amenities. It's the first AC Hotel in Ann Arbor and the fourth in Michigan, expanding the brand in the Midwest.

hihotels Announces Addition of Three Converted Properties

DSM and Stafford begin construction on The Chambray

📍 Developers DSM Real Estate Partners and Stafford Development Company have begun construction on The Chambray, a 125-key boutique hotel in downtown Roswell, Georgia. Scheduled to open in summer 2027, it will be operated by The Indigo Road Hospitality Group and join Hyatt’s JdV Collection. The Chambray will feature 215 rooms, including three F&B venues and 2,300 square feet of meeting space, enhancing Roswell's community spirit and growth.

Minor Hotels profit growth jumps 32% in 2025

🏨 Minor Hotels reported a 32% rise in core profits to THB 6.8bn (£161m) for 2025. Revenues hit THB 133.2bn (£3.1m), with group sales up 4% to THB 166.1bn (£3.9m). Occupancy rose to 68%, with a 3% increase in average daily rates. Europe and the Americas drove earnings, boosting profits through leisure and corporate recovery. The group signed 40 new projects and rebranded 23 properties, pursuing an asset-light model. Expectations remain positive for 2026.
