🏨 Design Hotels partners with Palisociety to expand its portfolio with 16 hotels across 9 U.S. locations, totaling over 1,000 keys. The hotels include Palihouse West Hollywood (95 keys) and ARRIVE Albuquerque (137 keys). As part of Marriott International, Design Hotels is set to surpass 100 hotels in the Americas by 2025. This collaboration allows Palisociety to access Design Hotels' services and Marriott Bonvoy. Avi Brosh and Kirsten Leigh Pratt lead Palisociety with a focus on design and cultural relevance.

🏛 The National Museum of Finland in Helsinki will complete a new underground extension by spring 2027. Designed by JKMM Architects, the 600 sq m pavilion features a 43m-wide roof weighing 1,400 tonnes, comparable to the Roman Pantheon. With a 90% underground structure, it includes two new black box exhibition spaces (840 sq m and 270 sq m). The pavilion's interior showcases 5,000 handmade ceramic tiles and 92,000 hand-glazed tiles by artist Tuula Lehtinen.

🏨 IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed with Kvarnholmen Utveckling to open Hotel Indigo Stockholm – Kvarnholmen, Sweden's first Hotel Indigo. Located in Nacka, Stockholm, it will feature 232 rooms, a rooftop pool, and wellness facilities. Opening in 2029, and operated by 1912 Hotels, the hotel spans 150 square meters of meeting space. IHG aims to expand in the Nordics, adding to its 13 properties there. Hotel Indigo boasts over 325 hotels in nearly 50 countries.

🏨 Crescent Hotels & Resorts expanded its portfolio by adding the Kimpton Hotel Monaco Baltimore Inner Harbor, located in downtown Baltimore, to its collection. The 202-room hotel, housed in the historic 1906 Beaux-Arts B&O Railroad Headquarters, finished a comprehensive renovation in 2025. With new Double King rooms and modern amenities, it preserves original features like marble staircases and Tiffany-stained glass windows. Crescent's portfolio now includes 120 properties across the U.S. and Canada.

🏨 Remington Hospitality acquires Sheraton Indianapolis City Centre, a 378-room hotel on Monument Circle, Indianapolis, for third-party management. The hotel will undergo renovations to join Marriott’s Renaissance brand, featuring new guestrooms, meeting spaces, and a rooftop pool. Despite ongoing renovations, the hotel remains operational. Partnering with Keystone Group, Remington aims to enhance guest experiences and asset performance. This move underscores Remington's strategy of collaborating with owners on property enhancement projects.

🏨 RLJ Lodging Trust is set to open The Atterbury, Autograph Collection, a 300-room hotel in downtown Pittsburgh, in summer 2026. The hotel will transform the historic 1906 Fulton Building, designed by Grosvenor Atterbury. Located near the Allegheny Riverfront and Market Square, it will feature interiors by Christine Shanahan, integrating original architecture with modern design. Highlights include an art program and dining at The Drafting Room, offering American cuisine and Pennsylvania beverages.

🏝️ Wheelock Street Capital and HEI Hotels & Resorts have acquired The Cavalier Resort in Virginia Beach. The resort spans over 15 beachfront acres and includes three properties: The Cavalier Hotel (85 rooms, built in 1927, renovated in 2018), Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront Resort (305 rooms, opened in 2020), and Embassy Suites (157 rooms, opened in 2023). Developed by Gold Key, the project began with an $85 million restoration. Amenities include nine restaurants and six pools.
