🏨 IHG Hotels and Resorts will introduce the Vignette Collection to London with the 142-room Canary Riverside Plaza in Canary Wharf, opening summer 2026. The project, in partnership with Yianis Group, will include a restaurant, bar, and event space for 200 guests. Since its 2021 launch, the Vignette Collection has 34 operational hotels and 45 in development. In early 2026, 74% of IHG's UK and Ireland hotel openings were conversions.

🏨 Travelodge reported a 4% revenue increase to £206.8m in Q1, despite inflation pressures and a softer London market. The chain runs 631 hotels in the UK, Ireland, and Spain. Industry-wide costs increased, causing a £13.6m EBITDA loss. Inflation added £6m in costs; business rates expected to rise from £38m to £50m. Spanish revenues rose 27%, reaching £1.7m EBITDA. The group opened a hotel in Stratford, London, and expects four more UK hotels this year.

🏨 Dumbleton Hall, built in 1830, reopens after a two-year restoration. Located in the North Cotswolds near Cheltenham and Stratford-upon-Avon, it spans a 16-acre estate with a lake and gardens. The hotel features 34 individually styled rooms and spaces like the Drawing Room and Library Bar. Dining is led by Chef Dean Westcar, with the Cedar 1905 restaurant serving British cuisine. The Orangerie will open in August, offering fine dining. Historically, it hosted figures like Dickens and Darwin.

🏨 Set in the former Whiteleys department store in Bayswater, Six Senses London features 109 hotel rooms and 14 residences. Designed by AvroKO, the project preserves the Grade II-listed structure, integrating modern elements. The property includes Whiteley’s Kitchen with a central show kitchen, a first-floor members club with a sculptural skylight, and a subterranean spa with a 65-foot pool. Guestrooms combine historical details with contemporary design, featuring Moroccan zellige tiles and adaptable cabinetry.

🏞️ Nobu Hospitality and Woolfox are launching Nobu Woolfox, a countryside development in Rutland, England, spanning 185 acres. It will include a hotel, restaurant, branded residences, and wellness amenities such as a spa, swimming pool, and gym. The design emphasizes natural landscapes and low-density living, offering a tranquil escape. CEO Trevor Horwell highlights this as Nobu's first countryside retreat, focusing on nature and relaxation, a departure from their urban projects.

🏨 Texas Hill Country is set to become a luxury hotspot with four major hotel projects targeting the 20 million people within five hours' drive. Since 2020, Texas has seen an influx of businesses like Tesla and Chevron, while Goldman Sachs invests $500 million in Dallas. By 2028, Hilton's Waldorf Astoria will open with 60 rooms near Fredericksburg. Aman introduced Amansanu in April, just 90 minutes from Austin, marking its sixth U.S. property.

🎸 Hotel Indigo London K West, located in Shepherd’s Bush, opened recently, celebrating its musical heritage. The site, previously a renowned recording studio, pays homage to its past with music-themed decor and amenities. Offering 252 rooms, the hotel features vibrant design elements and a rooftop bar with panoramic views. Positioned in a culturally rich area, it aims to attract music enthusiasts and travelers with its unique approach to hospitality.

🏨 IHG Hotels & Resorts will open the 58-room Esperança Hotel, Vignette Collection, in Braga by September 2026. This addition brings the Vignette Collection's portfolio in Portugal to six hotels. The property, owned by Hotel Janes LDA and managed by Amazing Evolution, involves converting two existing buildings. Vignette Collection, launched in 2021, aims to reach 100 hotels by 2030 and currently has 23 properties in Europe, including both open and pipeline projects.
