🏖 SAN SONNEA, the new Italian luxury hospitality collection by the Hinteregger family, debuts three destinations across Northern Italy: SAN SONNEA Family Dolomites, SAN SONNEA Lodge Dolomites, and Borgo SAN SONNEA Lake Garda. The flagship Family Dolomites features a new Equestrian Centre, Forest Spa, and Forest Villas opening in August. 🏨 Dubai-based Sunset Hospitality Group has signed 12 new venue agreements this quarter, expanding to 112 destinations in 27 countries. Over three years, it grew by 150%, with new markets in Hanoi, Manama, and Milan. METT Milan in Torre Velasca starts this summer, featuring Sushisamba and Madison House. In Dubai, Kapitol opens this month, and Qasbah is set for later this year. Antonio Gonzalez, CEO, aims for 55 more venues, creating a lifestyle ecosystem.

🏨 In August 2026, Hotel Longmont opened in downtown Longmont, Colorado. Developed by The Thrash Group and Vertikal, with 84 rooms including 44 king rooms and 3 suites, it features local art and Colorado-sourced amenities. Longmont Supply, a rooftop eatery, collaborates with local farms like Buckner Family Ranch. The hotel offers 3,700 sq. ft. of event space. Managed by Tandem Hospitality Group, it's a hub for locals and visitors exploring nearby Boulder and Denver.

🏨 Bournemouth's The Nici resort achieved a five-star AA rating in 2026, the town's first since 2000. The luxury hotel features ocean-view suites, a 30m heated pool, and a spa. The Nici, launched in 2022 with a £20m refurbishment, expanded to 73 rooms. Key figures included Nicolas Roach and managing director Lukasz Dwornik. The brand plans further UK expansions, including Southampton. Securing the rating reflects years of high standards and continuous investment.

🌳 In Lusaka, Zambia, the Zambia Luxury Lodge Collection (ZLLC) is redefining luxury safari travel by uniting four key safari destinations: Chichele Presidential, Puku Ridge, Lolebezi, and Lolelunga Private Reserve. From 2027, ZLLC will handle sales, marketing, and operations directly, enhancing its conservation mission and guest experience. Lolelunga, a 30,000-hectare reserve, recently reintroduced lions and plans to introduce black rhinos, setting a conservation benchmark. Strategic expansions in the US and UK bolster ZLLC’s global presence.

🏠 United Hospitality Management (UHM) signed three new hotel agreements with IHG Hotels & Resorts, adding 182 keys to its India portfolio. Scheduled to open between 2027-2029, the properties include Garner Corbett (50 keys), voco Kanatal (92 keys), and Garner Ahmedabad (40 keys). UHM seeks to manage 100 hotels in India, reflecting growth in domestic travel and investor confidence. UHM's India expansion began with Rosastays acquisition in December 2025. The company manages 24 properties in India.

📖 Forbes Travel Guide launched "Debut" and "Curated" collections, spotlighting new luxury hotels and cruises beyond the Star-Rated portfolio. Headlining the Debut collection are 14 Mandarin Oriental hotels opening over 18 months. These collections provide early insights into luxury developments without current Star Ratings, ensuring transparency. 🏨 First Hospitality, a national hotel management company, has taken over management of five properties: Sky Rock Sedona, The Steward Santa Barbara, Hotel Northland in Green Bay, Hotel Elkhart in Indiana, and Le Méridien St. Louis Downtown. This expansion introduces them to five new markets. Sky Rock offers 109 accommodations in Sedona, Steward Santa Barbara has 87 suites, Northland features 160 rooms, Elkhart provides 93 rooms, and Le Méridien offers 96 rooms in St. Louis.

🍴 Michelin-starred chef Jungsik Yim opened MUJE in Manhattan’s Garment District. The modern Asian fine dining restaurant spans 2,225 square feet, seating 48 guests, with six bar seats and 12 in the lounge. Designed by Two Point Zero, the space embodies harmony and evolution, using materials like stained red oak and walnut millwork. Its moody palette and crafted details reflect Yim’s philosophy of limitless culinary creativity, offering an intimate dining experience.

🏨 The Dean, an Irish-born lifestyle hotel brand, has opened the Dean Munich, a 281-room hotel in Munich's Westend. This is their largest property and the second in Germany, following the Dean Berlin, which opened in February. Designed by Tatjana von Stein, the hotel features interiors inspired by Jugendstil and 1980s Munich nightlife. The hotel includes a Japanese restaurant, Ibasho, and a fitness and wellness concept with an indoor pool, sauna, and steam room.
