🏨 Mount Royal Hotel Edinburgh has transformed into part of The Unlimited Collection after refurbishing 169 rooms. Located on Princes Street, it becomes the seventh global site under The Ascott Limited, alongside properties in Dublin, Vietnam, and Singapore. Glasgow's Bell and Swift led the renovations, inspired by train carriages and travel chests. Guests will enjoy Scottish-themed packages, including poetry, a bagpiper, and local food events. The new restaurant and bar, Eidyn, will feature whisky and gin masterclasses.

🏨 In 2013, Detroit faced the largest municipal bankruptcy in U.S. history. Mario Tricoci founded Aparium Hotel Group in 2012 and, by 2017, launched Detroit Foundation Hotel, converting a 1929 firehouse. Aparium manages nine hotels, with three more planned by 2027, including a 150-key hotel in Nashville. Tricoci's ventures focus on adaptive reuse in emerging urban areas, with significant revenue from F&B. Aparium's Populus in Denver, a carbon-positive hotel, opened in late 2024, receiving accolades.

🏟 Dellshire Resort opened in Wisconsin Dells, the first new-build resort in over 20 years. The 208-room, fantasy-themed resort features 11 accommodation types, Serpent’s Bay aquatic complex, Hero’s Hall entertainment hub, and 10,875 sq ft of event space. A signature 70-foot dragon sculpture by Kevin Stone and a mixed reality experience launching in summer 2026 enhance the immersion. Culinary director Justin Draper leads dining across five venues, emphasizing medieval-inspired, playful cuisine.
