🏨 Broadwick Soho, a 57-room hotel located at 20 Broadwick Street in London's West End, has joined the Small Luxury Hotels' Finest Collection. This marks it as the first London hotel in this elite group of 30 properties globally. Designed by Martin Brudnizki, it includes 10 suites, a penthouse, and over 300 original artworks, supporting music, fashion, and cultural events. Small Luxury Hotels highlights its distinctive identity and exceptional guest experiences.

🏨 Venice’s Hotel Cipriani, a Belmond Hotel, built in 1956 on Giudecca island, celebrates 70 years as a luxury icon. Recent renovations by Peter Marino, starting in 2018, introduced a Dior Spa and revamped Oro restaurant. The hotel offers rooms from 21 to 105 square meters, with suites featuring unique Venetian elements. Notably, it houses Venice's only Olympic-sized seawater pool. The lush Casanova Gardens and signature Bellinis remain guest favorites at this retreat from Piazza San Marco’s crowds.

🏨 Cambria Hotels expands with two new properties: Cambria Hotel Euless – DFW Airport South in Texas and Cambria Hotel Bend – Mt. Bachelor in Oregon. The Texas site features 107 rooms near Dallas Fort Worth Airport, while the Oregon hotel has 131 rooms near Mount Bachelor. Part of Choice Hotels’ upscale brand, with over 75 U.S. locations and 50 more in development, including international expansion plans.

🌳 Wilderness has launched Wilderness Mara camp in Kenya’s Mara Triangle on the former Little Governors’ Camp site. The camp showcases sustainable design by Chris Payne, featuring 12 tented suites, including a family unit. Key materials include 100% recycled plastic rugs and Nairobi-printed deck lights. Local craftsmanship is evident throughout, with furniture made from sustainable timber and reclaimed pieces. Communal spaces boast African-inspired design, like leather seating and beads by Sidai Designs, promoting sustainability and regional sourcing.

🏖 Qode, a 4,500-square-foot retreat in Hyderabad, transformed by Studio Nilasha, offers a journey from an intimate indoor space to a breezy outdoor lounge. Hidden beneath a resort near Gandipet Lake, it features luxurious textures and rich colors. A spiral staircase leads to a bar with Black Marquina and Verde Guatemala marble accents. The outdoor area, designed around existing trees, provides natural light and breeze, transitioning into intimacy by evening.

🏨 The Atterbury, Autograph Collection, opened in June 2026 in downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Located in the historic Fulton Building, originally constructed by architect Grosvenor Atterbury in 1906, the hotel features 300 rooms. RLJ Lodging Trust owns the hotel, which is operated by Sage Hospitality Group. The design includes a refreshed skywell, grand rotunda, and marble interiors. Amenities include a club lounge, fitness center, and marketplace, with nearby attractions like the Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium.

🏨 Hilton’s Undergraduate by Hilton, launched in June 2024, is aimed at college-town hospitality with an upper-midscale approach. The brand plans for 400-500 hotels, starting in 2027, within three miles of college campuses. Rooms emphasize flexibility with study corners and local design elements. The food and beverage offerings include late-night snacks and college classics. Hilton’s lifestyle portfolio targets 700 hotels by 2028, reflecting strong expansion with 60 openings this year alone.

📈 Minor Hotels saw a 2% increase in Q2 2026 core profits to THB 2.8bn (£63m) and a 1% rise in core revenue to THB 35.8bn (£802m). Group RevPAR remained stable, with a 1% increase in daily rates balancing a 1% occupancy drop to 68%. Core revenues grew 3% in H1 2026, but core profits declined 4% to THB 2.2bn (£49.3m). The company signed 29 hotel agreements and opened 11 hotels in H1, including debuts in the U.S. and Turkey.

🍴 The Sun Rose West Hollywood, one year after its Sunset Strip debut, has expanded its rooftop dining with SAGA Hospitality. Yuhi offers a 17-course, 12-seat omakase experience by chef Naomi Kubo. Oleander, led by chef Grace Dong, serves Coastal Pacific cuisine with Peruvian, Japanese, Mexican, and Hawaiian influences. Menu highlights include A5 Wagyu, 28 oz Wagyu Ribeye, and innovative cocktails, offering an exquisite blend of flavors and cultural inspirations.
