🏨 Jumeirah's iconic Burj Al Arab in Dubai will undergo an 18-month phased restoration led by Paris-based architect Tristan Auer. The project aims to preserve the hotel's architectural and cultural identity. Opened in 1999, the 198-suite hotel is renowned for its dhow sail silhouette and luxurious interiors. Jumeirah operates 29 properties in 11 countries. This restoration marks a new chapter for the Burj Al Arab, emphasizing design distinction and prestige.

🏨 Langham Hospitality Group plans to manage a new luxury hotel, The Langham, Jinan, in Jinan's Licheng District, opening in 2029. The hotel will feature 286 rooms across 35,000 square meters, including a three-Michelin-star Cantonese restaurant and Chuan Spa wellness amenities. Located in an area rich with historical landmarks and technological industries, it aims to attract both leisure and business travelers, enhancing the district's profile.

🏞 WorldHotels launched WorldHotels Backdrop, offering glamping retreats globally. The glamping market, valued at $3.79 billion in 2025, is projected to reach $7.87 billion by 2033. Key locations include Zion Wildflower Resort in Utah, Asheville River Cabins in N.C., and The Lodge at Pico Bonito in Honduras. Future expansions target Vietnam, Africa, and Australia. Backdrop properties support corporate events and weddings, leveraging WorldHotels Rewards with 66 million members.

🏨 Mandarin Oriental The Landmark, Hong Kong, will reopen on 1 June 2026, featuring a renewed entrance and redesigned rooms by Joyce Wang. 🛏️ The hotel offers 109 refreshed rooms starting at 42 m². Amber, its flagship restaurant, boasts three Michelin stars and a Green Star under Chef Richard Ekkebus. 🌟 New facilities include a champagne bar and an artisan coffee atelier. The Spa and Wellness area will open in July 2026, offering modern fitness and holistic experiences. Bookings are open until 31 August 2026.

🏖 Pismo Beach, California—Peregrine Hospitality will launch Pacific Point Resort in July 2023, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. This 12-acre resort, with 170 rooms, is a $50 million investment, revamping Pismo Lighthouse Suites and Shore Cliff Hotel. Located off Highway 1, the resort features ocean-facing rooms, two pools, and a café. Designed by SFA Design, it offers vintage-inspired decor, an interactive wine wall, and a variety of leisure activities including a Whale Watch Dispatch service for wildlife enthusiasts.

🏨 Dublin-based Staycity Group signed a 20-year lease for a new Wilde aparthotel at Brooks on East in Berlin, opening in 2027. The Friedrichshain district site will feature 222 apartments in two towers, near Ostbahnhof station and East Side Gallery. The project resumed in September 2024 after previous insolvency. Arrow Global and Red Square led negotiations. Staycity's strategic expansion targets high-footfall European urban locations appealing to business and leisure travelers.
