Burro Restaurant Opens in London's Covent Garden, Blending Italian Trattoria Style with Irish Country House Elements

🍴 Belfast-born chef Conor Gadd opens "Burro" in Covent Garden, London, designed by Day Studio. The 100-cover restaurant combines Italian and Irish influences, aiming for a welcoming, non-nostalgic feel. Unique features include centrally arranged banquette seating, burgundy marble and timber bar, and 100 mid-century chairs sourced from a Czech convent. Artworks by Irish painter Dan Ferguson and others adorn the walls. Helmanis designed the space, drawing on her previous work on Trullo in 2010.

EDITION Hotels to Debut in Texas with 214-Key Hotel and 60 Residences at Dallas Mixed-Use Development

🏠 Kaizen Development Partners and Douglas Elliman Real Estate are developing Chalk Hill in Uptown Dallas, introducing the first Texas location of EDITION Hotels. The 2.5-acre site will feature a 214-key hotel and 60 residences. The property includes a 29th-floor penthouse with 6,866 square feet, and over 3,300 square feet of private outdoor space. Amenities include a restaurant, bar, spa, and wellness center. Designed by Bonetti/Kozerski, BOKA Powell, SWA, and SCDA.
