🏨 Four Seasons Resort Bali at Sayan is undergoing a renovation with Hirsch Bedner Associates, set for completion in July 2026. The project includes upgrading seven guest sanctuaries, five premier duplex suites, and two family premier suites with smart home tech and energy-efficient air conditioning. Ayung Terrace and Jati Bar will receive new furniture and color schemes. The renovation follows receiving a Michelin key in 2025. Resort manager Tim Churchmack highlights the design's homage to its natural surroundings.

🏨 Historic Whiteley department store, opened in 1911, is now Six Senses London, with 109 guestrooms and 14 suites, designed following wellness and biophilic concepts. Part of a £3 billion Queensway district redevelopment, the site includes 92,900 sqm of mixed-use space, 139 apartments, and 19 retail brands. Over 300 jobs were created, and 0.5% of revenue supports local initiatives. The property is BREEAM-certified and environmentally focused, featuring a magnesium pool and advanced recovery technologies.

🏨 Hilton London Paddington, originally opened in 1854 as the Great Western Royal Hotel, is undergoing a multi-million-pound renovation to mark 173 years since its opening. The first phase focuses on the left wing, with new guest rooms set to open in spring 2026. The project preserves its Victorian and Art Deco charm while updating event spaces, including the Great Western ballrooms. The hotel, managed by the Bhatia family since 1986, maintains its historic integrity alongside modern needs.

🏖 Costa Sur Resort, Classico Collection by Sonesta, located in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, is now managed by Remington Hospitality. The resort features 189 rooms, four oceanfront dining options, a heated pool, a fitness center, and event spaces. Plans are underway to transition to an all-inclusive model this summer to enhance demand, revenue, and profitability. Remington aims to optimize revenue and operational efficiencies as part of its strategy in Mexico and Latin America.

🏖 Six Senses the Palm, Dubai opens September on Palm Jumeirah’s West Crescent, featuring 61 suites and 172 residences. Designed by SAOTA, the resort emphasizes sustainability with natural materials and offers views of the Arabian Gulf. A 60,000-square-foot spa and wellness center, and diverse dining venues enhance guest experiences. The resort targets LEED certification, following Dubai’s EHS Green Building Code. A second development, Six Senses Residences Dubai Marina, is set to open in 2028.

🏨 Tokyu Hotels and Resorts will join the Global Hotel Alliance (GHA), becoming the first Japanese hotel chain in the network of 950 hotels across 100 countries. In April 2027, Tokyu will launch the Tokyu Hotels Discovery program, integrating with its Comfort Members scheme by September 2027. Currently, 40 hotels in Japan and 1.1 million domestic members will benefit. The collaboration aims to capture new customer segments, including European and affluent Asian travelers.

🏠 Construction of the Nashville EDITION Hotel & Residences, a $400 million project, has begun in downtown Nashville's Gulch neighborhood. Scheduled to open in 2028, this 28-story tower will feature 261 hotel rooms and 84 condominiums. The lower floors house the hotel, while the top 15 stories are dedicated to residences. Exclusive amenities for residents include a private gym and outdoor terrace, with access to hotel services like 24-hour concierge. Designed by ESa with interiors by INC Architecture & Design.
