🏖 In 2028, Raffles will open its first alpine hotel in Courchevel 1850, featuring 50 rooms and suites, dining venues, and a wellness focus. This project is in partnership with Art de Vivre, aiming to redefine luxury. Key figures involved include Agnès Roquefort, Omer Acar, Xavier Grange, Paul Rosenberg-Grosjean, Axel Beauvais, Paul Renaudin, and Daniel von Barloewen. Courchevel 1850, known for prestige and international appeal, sets the scene for this landmark development.

🗺 In New York City, the NYCxDesign 2026 festival is scheduled from May 14-20. Ten new venues have opened across the city since the last festival, featuring unique design-forward bars, restaurants, and clubs. Highlights include Oddball in Alphabet City with a retro-futuristic design, and The Maze in Chelsea, an alcohol-free club catering to sober individuals. Other venues like Stars in East Village and Cove in Hudson Square offer distinct interior styles, ranging from jewel box designs to California-inspired aesthetics.

🏖 Travel + Leisure Co. and Authentic Brands Group launched the Eddie Bauer Adventure Club in Moab, Utah, marking Eddie Bauer's entry into hospitality. The club features 39 suites, including studios and multi-bedroom accommodations, near Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. It emphasizes sustainability with refillable hydration stations and reduced plastic use. Guests enjoy activities such as hiking, mountain biking, and stargazing. The club aims to transform Eddie Bauer’s adventure ethos into a unique travel experience.

🌴 Aman plans to open Amansanu, its sixth U.S. property, 90 minutes from Austin, Texas. This ranch-inspired retreat spans Texas Hill Country, featuring standalone pavilions and residences starting at 10 acres. Designed by Olson Kundig, it harmonizes with the landscape. Amenities include a Main Lodge, dining concepts, an Aman Spa, a Wellness Center, and Aman’s first serviced stables. This expansion joins other upcoming Aman locations in the Americas, such as Amanvari and Aman Miami Beach.

📍 Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea introduces a new Club Floor, designed by New York's Meyer Davis studio. 🏝️ Launching in Wailea, Hawaii, the Club Floor offers 26 exclusive rooms and suites with personalized service, including private check-in/out, a dedicated concierge team, and exclusive Club Lounge access. 🌺 The Lounge features natural materials inspired by Maui's landscape, providing a seamless blend of privacy and curated luxury, with nods to Hawaiian culture and artistry throughout.

🍾 Brown's Hotel, in collaboration with Champagne Laurent-Perrier, launches "The Brown’s Season" from May to August 2026. This programme offers curated experiences for London’s summer events, such as the Chelsea Flower Show, Royal Ascot, and Wimbledon. Highlights include Boodles Botanical Afternoon Tea (19-23 May) and Harry Styles' concert at Wembley. Founded in 1832, Brown’s provides comprehensive concierge services, including a "Town and Country" package with a stay at The Star in Alfriston. Enjoy a complimentary fourth night from 13 July to 1 September.

🏨 Westport Hospitality will open The Harborvale, Autograph Collection in June 2026 in Burlington, Vermont. This 161-room hotel is located on Lake Champlain and is part of Marriott Bonvoy’s Autograph Collection. Developed by Jay Canning and Chuck DesLauriers, and owned by Burlington Harbor Hotel Group, it features over 3,000 square feet for events. The hotel offers three event spaces for gatherings of up to 125 guests, embracing Burlington’s lake life nostalgia.
