🏨 Accor partners with Banque des Territoires to revive La Citadelle Vauban in Belle-Île-en-Mer, France, aiming for a 2027 opening. The project includes a 90-key Emblems Collection hotel, museum, and wellness center. A major regional development, it will create over 100 permanent jobs and nearly 70 seasonal positions. The restoration supports cultural preservation and aims to enhance economic dynamism and tourist appeal, with backing from Caisse des Dépôts and Fondation du patrimoine.

🍹 Kitty’s Cosmopolitan Club, a chic Chicago basement bar, opened by Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants at 51 W Hubbard Street. The bar, designed by David Collins Studio, features emerald green decor, metallic tiles, and plush banquettes. Kevin Beary's cocktail menu includes a -16°F freezer, a city first, offering drinks like the Kitty’s Gin Martini with Old Raj 55° Dry Gin. The lounge offers indulgent food like caviar chips and Cinco Jotas Ibérico ham.

🏖 Kerzner International has launched sales for One&Only Private Homes in Fiji, set to open in 2029. Located on Nacula Island, Yasawa Islands, the development spans 127 acres and is accessible via a 30-minute seaplane or two-hour speedboat from Nadi. The project features 22 private residences with 3-5 bedrooms, each with a pool. Owners gain access to resort amenities, including dining, spa, and sports facilities. Developed with BSP Life Fiji, it's One&Only’s first South Pacific venture.

🏨 From 2014 to 2018, the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo underwent a major renovation aiming to modernize while preserving its heritage. Located at Place du Casino, Monte Carlo, the hotel is iconic alongside Casino de Monte Carlo, forming a luxury symbol. The renovation emphasized integrating historical legacy with contemporary expectations, focusing on identity adaptation and guest experience rather than just maintenance. Key features include Le Louis XV restaurant, emphasizing cultural and symbolic capital over mere antiquity.

🎨 Hungarian artist Szabolcs Bozó takes over Room 607 at La Fantaisie in Paris for a nine-month residency ending on 22 February 2027. The Art Suite features Bozó’s folk-inflected, animal motif creations across 42 sq m, accommodating up to three guests. It includes bespoke furnishings, a large closet, and a plush bathroom. Co-branded items are available for purchase exclusively at the hotel, with rates starting at €1,000. Located at 24 Rue Cadet, Paris, La Fantaisie offers a vibrant stay.

🏨 Located at the foot of Higashiyama Mountain, Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto features an 800-year-old pond garden, Shakusui-en. It offers 180 rooms, including 13 suites and 57 residential suites. Designed by Kume Sekkei and Hirsch Bedner Associates, the hotel includes two restaurants, two lounges, and a large spa with a 20-meter pool. Highlights include a Hermès rickshaw and weekly maiko performances. Kyoto Station is 10 minutes away. Notable artworks by Todo and Ofune Makoto enhance the serene atmosphere.

🏨 Irish hotel brand The Dean opened a 281-room property in Munich's Westend in July 2026, marking its largest launch. Following a Berlin opening in February 2026, the Munich hotel includes three bars, a Japanese restaurant, and a fitness center. Designer Tatjana von Stein blended Bavarian Art Nouveau with 1980s Munich design. The art collection, managed by Christian Ganzenberg, features local artists. The on-site restaurant, Ibasho, was developed by chef Alex Craciun.

🏨 The Harilela Group plans to open the Hari Singapore in spring 2027, transforming the Holiday Inn Singapore Orchard City Centre into a 326-key luxury hotel. This will be the brand’s third location, after London and Hong Kong. Renowned British designer Tara Bernerd will lead the project, infusing the design with Singapore’s cultural essence. Key amenities include a rooftop pool, executive lounges, wellness offerings, and a rotating artwork program, maintaining the brand’s signature style.
