Marriott strengthens DACH expansion with new development leadership

🏨 Michal Reschke, with 13+ years in hotel development, joins Marriott International to drive growth in the DACH region. Previously, she led development at H World International. Marriott plans expansion with 160+ hotels and 32,000 rooms across 20 brands in the DACH area. Key projects include eight Four Points Flex by Sheraton hotels, six Moxy Hotels, and four Autograph Collection properties. Focus is on midscale offerings and conversion projects.

Hotel Equities Announces Planned Retirement of Founder

📈 ATLANTA, Georgia—Fred Cerrone, founder of Hotel Equities, will retire on November 22, 2025, after 58 years in hospitality. Cerrone, who became Sheraton's youngest general manager at 21 and a Marriott franchise pioneer, will remain as chairman emeritus. Post-merger with Springboard Hospitality, Brad Rahinsky is now co-chairman, and Ben Rafter is CEO. Cerrone's legacy of integrity and service will continue to guide the organization.

Brend Collection celebrates area director’s 40 years of service
