Mandarin Oriental Miami Demolished for New 66-Storey Mixed-Use Development with 228 Residences and Luxury Hotel
🏠 Early April, Miami: The 23-storey Mandarin Oriental hotel on Brickell Key was demolished to make way for a new development featuring 228 branded residences and a 121-room hotel in a 66-storey and 34-storey tower, respectively. Swire Properties plans completion by 2030. Already, over 50% of South Tower units sold, generating $1.2 billion, with penthouses nearing $50 million each. This trend also affects Dallas, with Hôtel St. Germain converting into a 23-storey mixed-use tower.
