🏨 Victory Group acquired Cameron House, a 17th-century estate on Loch Lomond, Scotland, for an undisclosed sum. Located 30 miles from Glasgow, the 400-acre resort features hotel rooms, lodges, cottages, and apartments. Victory Group plans phased upgrades, including wellness facilities and family programs. This marks their first Scottish acquisition, with further UK investments planned this year. Founder Erik Moresco emphasizes commitment to high-quality assets in attractive locations.

🏨 The Seaview Hotel on the Isle of Wight, with 24 rooms and a two-bedroom cottage, is listed for sale at £3 million. Situated in Seaview village, it includes the Aquitania restaurant, Bistro dining room, coffee lounge, and Pump Bar. The hotel has been under its current ownership for 23 years. Nick Earee of Fleurets South is managing the sale, having sold it to the current owners in 2003.

🏨 Three Ways House Hotel in Mickleton, North Cotswolds, is for sale for over £3.75 million. Built in 1871 from Cotswold stone, it offers 48 en suite bedrooms, a restaurant, a bar, and meeting rooms. The Cotswolds region attracted 38 million tourists in 2024, generating over £1 billion. Savills, the real estate advisor, handles the sale, citing consistent RevPAR premiums for local hotels. Nearby, The Old Stocks Inn sold for £3 million, Wyck Hill House for £10 million, and The Lords of the Manor for £6.5 million.

📈 On June 4, Petra acquired a 162-room citizenM hotel in Rome, aiming to create an Italian portfolio. The hotel, under the Marriott-backed citizenM brand, reopened in early 2024. Petra, founded in 2023, focuses on Southern Europe, where hotel margins exceed Northern Europe by 5 to 20 points. Liquidity is shifting south, with strong capital flow in Spain and emerging growth in Italy. The French market lags due to regulatory challenges, while Southern Europe offers better visibility and diversity.

💰 Dubai continues to revitalize tourism with a new 1.5 billion dirhams (€375 million) aid package, approved by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, targeting tourism, trade, logistics, real estate, and culture. Measures include waiving the Tourism Dirham tax and suspending municipal fees on hotel and restaurant bills. The aid follows a prior March package worth 1 billion dirhams. Air traffic resumed on 2 May after UAE airspace reopened, with over 37,000 flights canceled from 28 February to 8 March 2026.
