Marcliffe Hotel in Aberdeen Completes £1.1m Refurbishment, Transforming 13 Rooms with Local Heritage Themes

🏨 In Aberdeen, the Marcliffe Hotel and Spa completed a £1.1 million refurbishment of 13 suites and superior rooms themed around local heritage. The project added two Superior Family Rooms with custom children's beds. Under new managing director Jordan Charles, joining in March 2026, initial room releases saw high occupancy and ADR. Acquired by Balmoral Group in 2024, the hotel secured a five-star AA rating in 2025. A separate £5.5 million was spent on the Skylark Brasserie in 2023.

Fertitta Entertainment to Acquire Caesars Entertainment in $17.6 Billion All-Cash Deal, Including Debt Assumption
