New program rewards repeat guests with future-stay credits, exclusive benefits and personalized experiences

TAMPA, Fla. (Sept. 23, 2026) – In celebration of its upcoming fifth anniversary, Stay Sojo, the nationwide furnished-living brand by Mainsail Lodging & Development, is launching The Staylist, a new loyalty program designed to recognize and reward extended-stay guests as their work and lives take them from one destination to the next.

Since launching in November 2021, Stay Sojo has served more than 11,000 guests across 680-plus U.S. cities while building a strong base of repeat clients that accounts for approximately 70% of its business. The Staylist brings that same emphasis on lasting relationships to the guest experience, offering returning guests tangible benefits and more personalized stays across Stay Sojo destinations nationwide.

“An extended stay isn’t just a transaction. It’s where someone lives while they’re doing something important in their life or career,” said Sarah Everhart, Vice President and Partner of Stay Sojo. “When that guest comes back to us for their next assignment, we want them to know we remember them. The Staylist gives us a meaningful way to recognize that relationship and make every return feel a little more like coming home.”

Guests who complete a qualifying stay of 30 days or more become eligible for The Staylist and receive $100 toward a future Stay Sojo stay, along with insider access to member offers, seasonal opportunities and new destination announcements.

After three qualifying stays, members achieve Stay Sojo Loyalist status, unlocking priority service, partner dining credits, a welcome gift and increasingly personalized experiences based on individual preferences. Loyalists also receive priority placement, early arrival and late departure when available.

The Staylist also introduces Staysetter, a guest storytelling series highlighting the people behind the stays and the places their careers, assignments and lives take them.

The loyalty program is part of a broader brand evolution that includes a refreshed visual identity, enhanced digital experience and more personalized guest touchpoints.

Stay Sojo launched in November 2021, building on more than two decades of furnished-housing experience within Mainsail Lodging & Development. Mainsail entered the corporate furnished-housing business in 2002 through Marriott ExecuStay franchises before creating Stay Sojo for a new generation of travelers seeking the comfort of home, flexibility of temporary living and hospitality-driven service.

Today, Stay Sojo serves corporate travelers, government employees, relocating professionals, healthcare workers, entertainment and production crews, remote workers and other guests whose work or life may take them away from home for weeks or months at a time.

“Stay Sojo has always lived somewhere between hospitality and home,” said Jana Collier, Managing Partner of Stay Sojo. “As we’ve grown, we’ve continued to refine what that experience should look and feel like. The Staylist is another step in creating an experience guests can recognize and return to, whether they’re staying with us for a month in Atlanta, on assignment in Nashville or relocating somewhere entirely new.”

The brand’s growth has included industry recognition and expansion into new markets. Stay Sojo received the Corporate Housing Providers Association’s 2022 Tower of Excellence Award for Most Creative Marketing, and in 2025 became a U.S. General Services Administration Multiple Award Schedule contract holder, expanding its ability to serve federal agencies and government travelers nationwide.

For Stay Sojo, the new loyalty program reflects the unique way loyalty takes shape in extended-stay travel. “Our guests aren’t just returning to the same hotel or destination. They may be moving from project to project, assignment to assignment and city to city,” added Collier. “And while the destination may change, the relationship with Stay Sojo doesn’t have to.”
