Emblems aims for 15 properties by 2025, with Rimrock's transformation boosting Canadian Rockies tourism.

🏨 voco hotels is entering the Canadian market with three new signings in Montreal, Toronto, and Niagara Falls. Scheduled openings: voco Niagara Falls – Fallsview in late 2026 with 232 rooms; voco Montreal in mid-2027 with 55 rooms; voco Toronto Airport West in 2027 with 180 rooms, aiming to be Canada's first zero-emissions, carbon-neutral hotel. This expansion is part of voco's global growth, reaching 100 open hotels with 95 more planned.

🏨 Nationwide Realty Investors, in Columbus, Ohio, announced nearing completion of renovations for the Nationwide Hotel and Conference Center in Lewis Center. Rebranded as The Ohioan Hotel & Event Center, updates include modernized ballrooms and a 2,000 sq. ft. pub refresh in fall. The renovation, led by Nationwide Realty Investors' President Brian J. Ellis, integrates Ohio-based artists' work and maintains the property’s historical appeal. Columbus Hospitality Management has overseen operations for nearly 15 years.

🏨 Hotel Bourré Bonne Louisville, Curio Collection by Hilton opens downtown with 168 rooms, including 4 suites and 16 deluxe rooms. Located near the NuLu district and KFC Yum Center Arena, the hotel features a rooftop pool, bar, and restaurant. It offers over 7,000 sq ft of meeting space. Dining includes Steakhouse Bourré Bonne and Rooftop Bourré Bonne with menus inspired by French cuisine and Kentucky bourbon. The hotel's design celebrates Louisville's culture and heritage.

🏨 Novum Hospitality, led by CEO David Etmenan, is expanding in Aachen, Germany with a mixed-use development featuring the Holiday Inn – the niu Aixley hotel. The project includes 300 parking spaces, student apartments, and office space. The hotel will target BREEAM certification and incorporate modern amenities to accommodate digital nomads and business professionals. IHG aims to double its German presence, with a partnership leading to three new hotels and a planned dual-branded complex in Leipzig.

🏠 Scheduled for 2027 in Madrid, the €33 million project by All Iron RE I Socimi transforms a 90-unit building into luxury apartments. It includes a gym, indoor pool, and over 1,000 sqm of retail space. With 64 parking spots and a rooftop terrace, it's operated by Aspasios under Marriott Bonvoy. Positioned in an exclusive neighborhood, it caters to both leisure and business travelers, aiming at high-yielding lifestyle assets in Madrid and Barcelona.

🏨 Ruby Hotels and Primetown Development are partnering on a €20m development near Omonia Square, Athens. The project spans 3,200 m² and features a 24/7 bar, breakfast area, rooftop with panoramic views, and pool terrace. This new addition aligns with IHG's strategy, following their acquisition of Ruby in 2025, expanding their presence with ten Greek properties. 🍴 O-Ku, a 15-year-old concept by Indigo Road Hospitality, surprises loyal customers with gifts in cities like Charleston, Nashville, and Alys Beach. Known for quality sushi, they use OpenTable to identify celebratory dinners for gift-giving. Chef Masatomo “Masa” Hamaya created the popular Masa-racha sauce. O-Ku offers custom sushi boards for private events, fostering community partnerships. Locations include Alys Beach, Atlanta, Charleston, Charlotte, Greenville, Jacksonville Beach, Nashville, Raleigh, and Washington, D.C.

🏠 Mint House expands to Washington, D.C., opening 1010 Vermont, a boutique apartment hotel with 85 units in a renovated 11-story building, located two blocks from the White House. Originally designed by architect Appleton P. Clark Jr. and built in 1926, it became a historic landmark in 2016. Amenities include fully equipped kitchens and a fitness center. This marks Mint House's second opening in 2023, following The Dylin in Madison, WI, with more openings planned for 2025.
