🏨 Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) announced the signing of a new 90-key Ginger hotel in Shillong, marking the brand's debut in Meghalaya. The hotel will include a Qmin restaurant, stylish bar, meeting room, and fitness center. Shillong, known for its Khasi culture and sites like Umiam Lake, will host the new hotel, which becomes IHCL's third in Meghalaya. Mr. Khongsngi, a local real estate developer, is involved.

🏖 Airelles has opened reservations for Airelles Palladio, Venezia, with an expected launch on 1 April 2026. This marks Airelles' debut in Italy, expanding its European portfolio with a heritage conversion.

🏨 In Kinshasa, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Protea Hotel by Marriott has opened, managed by SARV Management LLC. With 88 guest rooms, it's located near the Congo River, surrounded by government offices and malls. Features include a 56-square-metre conference room, fitness centre, and an indoor pool. The hotel's restaurant, Marché 15, and Lobby Bar offer dining and relaxation options. Kinshasa hosts over 17 million people, known for its vibrant culture and commerce.

📍 Trilogy Hotels took over management of Ink Hotel Melbourne Southbank on December 1, 2025, rebranding it as ibis Styles Melbourne Southbank. Located at 167 City Road, Southbank, the 162-room hotel belongs to Singapore's Nadathur Group. Its prime position offers easy access to Melbourne's entertainment and cultural heart, including Crown Melbourne and the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. This is Trilogy's inaugural Melbourne venture, partnering with Accor for brand distribution and loyalty program benefits.

🌴 MGallery Collection will debut in the Maldives with V Villas Maldives at Mirihi, opening in early 2026. Located on Mirihi Island in the South Ari Atoll, this all-villa resort will feature 42 luxury villas, including beach and overwater options, designed by Studio Gronda. Owned by VIE Maldives Pvt Ltd, a Major Cineplex Group subsidiary, guests will enjoy a 25-minute seaplane transfer from Malé Airport. The resort emphasizes sustainability under Accor's ESG program, blending luxury with Maldivian heritage.

🍹 JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa + Rampart Casino in Summerlin, Nevada, completed a $75-million renovation for its 25th anniversary in Q4 2024. Colicchio Consulting led the revamp of food and beverage offerings, including Wineaux, ai Pazzi, and The Neighborhood Food Walk. The new destinations feature top chefs like Shawn McClain and Fabio Viviani, offering culinary experiences spanning Italian to Dim Sum. The project emphasizes cultural relevance and culinary innovation.

🏖️ Limelight Mammoth, by Aspen One and Limelight Hotels, opened its first California location near The Village Gondola with 149 guestrooms, 25 suites, and 15 residences. The all-electric property emphasizes sustainability with efficient heat pumps and native landscaping. The resort includes the Mammoth Lakes Mountain Club, offering private amenities and year-round events. A grand opening on December 12 will feature performances by Fitz and The Tantrums and Two Feet. The site has over 8,000 sq. ft. of event space.
