📍 Aimbridge Hospitality will manage six hotels in Mexico, owned by Alliance Hotel Management, under the IHG voco brand. Scheduled rebranding is set for 2026, bringing Aimbridge's voco properties in North America to ten. Three hotels will reopen in April 2026: Real Inn Cancún (160 keys), Real Inn Guadalajara Expo (163 keys), and Real Inn Ciudad Juárez (150 keys). The other three will reopen in October 2026 after renovations: Real Inn San Luis Potosí, Nuevo Laredo, and Torreón.

🏨 Kohler, Wisconsin—Inn on Woodlake will expand with 66 new guestrooms and the Bucks & Birdies entertainment center. The expansion will increase the total room count to 203 and include a social hub with golf and F1 racing simulators. Construction will finish by June 2027. Current operations continue during renovations that already started with demolitions. Kohler Co. is concurrently working on projects like Purebred Farm golf course and The Serve sports facility.

🏨 Embassy Suites by Hilton Birmingham completed a multi-million-dollar renovation in November 2025. Located minutes from Downtown Birmingham, the hotel features 242 updated guest suites, 5,100 square feet of enhanced meeting space, and a modernized atrium and lobby. Upgrades include new furnishings, lighting, and a redesigned fitness center with a Peloton Bike. Guests enjoy free breakfast, evening receptions, and dining at Ruth’s Chris Steak House. This revitalized hotel reflects Birmingham’s growing tourism landscape.

This expands Aimbridge’s voco presence to 10 North American hotels.

🏨 On 8 December 2025, The Wellington Glasgow by Adina will open in a converted 19th-century building on Wellington Street, marking TFE Hotels' second UK launch within a month. This follows the November debut of The Hobson Cambridge by Adina. The Glasgow aparthotel features 98 apartments, a gym, and conference facilities. Each apartment includes kitchenettes and dining spaces. Ray Goertz and Moritz Klein highlight Glasgow's appeal for Adina's casual-living concept, blending heritage with modern amenities.

🏨 Hyatt is set to open the 204-room Hyatt Regency London Olympia in spring 2026 in Emberton House, formerly Europe's largest multi-storey car park. Located in west London, the hotel is part of a £1.3bn redevelopment project. The site will feature two food outlets, a fitness center, and meeting rooms. The wider Olympia redevelopment will offer 30 restaurants, a theatre, and a live music venue. The Regency brand targets business and leisure travelers in Kensington.

🏡 Banyan Group has launched the final phase of The Residences at Garrya Phuket at Laguna Phuket, featuring two- and three-bedroom beachfront penthouses with private rooftop pools. Located 30 minutes from Phuket International Airport, these properties offer panoramic views and are priced from THB 67.3M (USD 2.08M) for penthouses and THB 15.4M (USD 476K) for one-bedroom apartments. Owners enjoy wellness amenities, rental returns, and membership benefits, including access to RAVA Beach Club.

🛳️ Duke Street Boutique Hotel in Liverpool reopened a month after being acquired by Golding Group for £2.25 million. Previously on the market for nine months, the hotel underwent a cosmetic refurbishment, featuring a redesigned reception and residents' bar, and transitioned to a fully staffed model. Golding Group, which also owns 62 Castle Street Hotel and accommodations on Lime Street, is excited about this new addition to their portfolio.

🏨 Hyatt Place Butwal, Nepal, opened as the third Hyatt hotel in the country. The hotel features 109 guestrooms, including a 1,560 sq ft Presidential Suite. Guests enjoy free Wi-Fi, breakfast, and a 24/7 market. Facilities include a ballroom for 150 guests, an outdoor pool, and a fitness center. Led by General Manager Tushar Nagar and Director of Sales Partha Banerjee, the hotel caters to both business and leisure travelers.
