🍴 Five years ago, Gigi was introduced not as an Italian restaurant, but as a soulful brand by a French company. Yesterday, it launched in Rome on the Minerva Hotel rooftop, joined by journalists and partners. Gigi celebrates Italy’s elegance and art of living, aiming for emotional connection. Cities like Paris, Saint Tropez, Dubai, Rome, Miami, and Bodrum already host Gigi, with more to come. Partners include Arsenale, Orient Express, and La Minerva.

🏨 Mandarin Oriental will reopen in Makati, Manila in late 2026. The 98.7-meter-tall hotel, developed with Ayala Land, will be located at Ayala Triangle Gardens and feature 275 rooms and suites, five dining and bar concepts, an 800-square-meter Spa and Wellness floor, and a 740-square-meter grand hall for up to 1,000 guests. It is situated 15 minutes from Manila International Airport, offering a pre-opening package called Your Home for the Holidays.

📍 Opening June 2026 in Washington, D.C., Marriott International and Another Star will debut citizenM's third property: citizenM Washington, D.C. Georgetown. The 230-room hotel, designed by Concrete Amsterdam, offers amenities like a canteenM, gym, and fully adjustable room ambiance via iPad. Located near Georgetown University, it is the first citizenM under Marriott Bonvoy. Satya Anand and Lennert de Jong highlight the cultural significance and new experiences for guests in Georgetown.

🏖️ Miraval Resorts & Spas launched Miraval The Red Sea on Shura Island, Saudi Arabia, marking its first property outside the U.S. The adults-only resort features 180 rooms, suites, and villas designed by Foster + Partners and Rockwell Group. The 40,000-square-foot Life in Balance Spa offers 39 treatment rooms. Part of a 28,000 sq km regenerative tourism project, the resort uses renewable energy. Guests enjoy activities like stargazing, kayaking, and personalized well-being itineraries.

🏨 Leonardo Hotel Group opened The Manor Amsterdam, its ninth hotel in the city, located in Amsterdam Oost, in a building from 1891. The hotel has 125 rooms and features Pepe Nero, an Italian restaurant launched on April 3. Room rates start at £163, with breakfast at £25. Guests enjoy amenities like a gym and a 24/7 market. Parking costs EUR 37.50 per night. The group has over 300 hotels in Europe, with 28 in the Benelux region.

🗽 Radisson launched its first Individuals-branded hotel, Hotel Galaxy Timișoara, in western Romania. Situated in Timișoara's Baroque old town, the 48-room hotel offers 45 rooms and 3 premium apartments, with facilities including a restaurant, bar, meeting spaces, spa, and rooftop jacuzzi. Timișoara gained international interest as a European Capital of Culture 2023. Transport links connect the hotel, which is 20 minutes from Timișoara International Airport and 7 minutes from the central railway station.

Featuring 48 rooms, including 3 premium apartments, the hotel offers a restaurant, brasserie, fitness center, spa, and rooftop jacuzzi. It is a 20-minute drive from Timișoara International Airport and 7 minutes from the railway station. This expansion aligns with Timișoara’s cultural prominence as a European Capital of Culture 2023.

🏨 In Oak Brook, Illinois, Hyatt Lodge Oak Brook completed its property renovation, revitalizing guestrooms and corridors with Prairie-style design. Managed by Davidson Hospitality Group, designed by DLR Group, and engineered by Grumman Butkus, the updates include modern furnishings, accent murals, and upgraded lighting. The hotel features over 30,000 sq. ft. of event space, a fitness and spa facility, and on-site dining. The design preserves the property's architecture, enhancing the guest experience with nature-inspired elements.
