🏖️ Carrie Williams will be the new general manager of Aspen Meadows Resort starting June 14. Aspen Meadows, managed by Salamander Collection and founded by Sheila Johnson, covers 40 acres with 98 suites. Williams, with the Aspen Institute since 2020, has led sustainability and renovation projects. The resort recently renovated guest accommodations and opened a new restaurant, West End Social. Williams succeeds from roles at The Limelight Hotel and The Little Nell in Aspen.

📍 Jonathan Blose appointed as general manager of Hyatt’s Gild Hall, A Thompson Hotel, on April 14, 2025. With 17 years in hospitality, Blose's experience spans roles such as director of operations at Hyatt Centric Times Square (2021-2025) and Andaz San Diego. The 130-room hotel, opened in 2008, is located in Lower Manhattan's Financial District near Wall Street and One World Trade. Blose emphasizes team understanding for success.

💸 Fattal Hotel Group acquired the Leonardo Hotel London Heathrow Airport from Aprirose, which had owned the 230-room property since 2015. The hotel, last refurbished in 2019, was sold to create liquidity and redeploy capital. Knight Frank brokered the deal. This trend, where operators buy real estate to control operations, aligns with Aprirose's recent asset transactions in St John's Wood, London's West End, and Liverpool. Arthur Phelan was appointed as Aprirose's asset management director.

🏨 Sage Hospitality Group will manage the iconic Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado, known for inspiring Stephen King’s “The Shining.” This partnership with the Colorado Educational and Cultural Facilities Authority aims to generate $45 million over 36 years. The 191-room hotel, built in 1909, is a National Historic Place. Former owner John W. Cullen IV remains CEO of SPACE, planning expansions. The property offers a restaurant, bar, spa, and 25,000 square feet for events.

📍 Andaz 5th Avenue in New York City has named Marshneil Bharadwaj as its new general manager. A nearly 20-year Hyatt veteran, Bharadwaj moved to NYC in 2022 from the Bahamas. She will lead operations, strategic planning, and guest experience at the 184-room hotel, which includes 47 suites and six terrace rooms near Bryant Park and the New York Public Library.
