Nobu Opens 23,680-Square-Foot Restaurant in SODIC's Eastown District, New Cairo; Hotel to Follow in 2027

🏨 Nobu opened its first Egyptian location in SODIC’s Eastown District New Cairo, covering 160,000 square feet. The Nobu New Cairo restaurant, designed by Rockwell Group, spans 23,680 square feet with a 300-guest capacity. Key features include a limestone sushi bar and a glowing installation. A Nobu hotel is set to follow in 2027. Future expansions include a hotel and residences in Ras El Hekma's Ogami development on Egypt’s North Coast.

Located on Tuset Street, a historical nightlife hub, the bar is a tribute to Barcelona's vibrant era of the "gauche divine." Concealed behind a traditional focacceria, the hidden entry is through a refrigerator. Grupo La Confitería commissioned the design, emphasizing a multi-sensory experience with design, light, and music.
