🍾 The Maze, New York's first alcohol-free members club, opens today in the Flatiron District. The 4,600-square-foot space features a restaurant, coffee bar, curated lounges, and event areas, designed by opa Architecture and Laube Studio. It includes a mosaic-tiled dining room, a sports lounge with sofas and screens, and a speakeasy with a burgundy palette. The club's design emphasizes connection over alcohol through architecture and richly colored details.

🏨 Villa San Michele, A Belmond Hotel in Florence, reopens on April 28th after an 18-month restoration. Originally a 15th-century monastery, the villa features 39 redesigned rooms and three new signature suites: Limonaia, Grand Tour, and Botanica. The site introduces the Villa San Michele Spa by Guerlain, with three treatment rooms. The 2.4-acre gardens and gastronomic restaurant led by Chef Alessandro Cozzolino enhance the guest experience. A partnership with La DoubleJ enriches wellness programming.

📍 W Hotels completed the renovation of W Hoboken, located on the waterfront across from New York City. The hotel features 223 guestrooms and 20 Superior Suites with panoramic skyline views. The Living Room Bar, offering various dining options, joins Halifax and Sushi by Bou restaurants. Additional amenities include FIT gym and flexible meeting spaces. The transformation aims to redefine luxury lifestyle hospitality, blending bold design and vibrant energy.

🏨 Sonesta International Hotels Corporation announced the opening of 18 hotels with Laxmi Hotels Group in September 2024, marking a milestone in selling 113 managed properties. Laxmi manages 11 hotels, and Ark Hospitality handles seven, all under the Sonesta Select brand. The total portfolio, including 30 Sonesta Select, 44 Sonesta ES Suites, and 39 Sonesta Simply Suites, adds 14,803 rooms across 28 states. The new locations are in Florida, Georgia, New Jersey, Tennessee, Indiana, Kansas, Massachusetts, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Pennsylvania.

🏨 Radisson Hotel Group added over 210 signings and openings in 2025. In EMEA, Radisson Blu expanded in France, Germany, Türkiye, and Montenegro. France saw significant growth with new hotels in Lyon and Paris. Radisson RED opened in the UK, Romania, India, UAE, and Thailand. Radisson Individuals reached 100 hotels since 2020. China saw 130 new hotels, and India surpassed 200. Radisson's resort portfolio grew to over 160 properties worldwide, including new locations in Europe and Asia.

🏠 Capella Hotel Group opened Capella Residences Seoul Club in Seoul’s Hannam-dong district, previewing the full development set for 2028. Korea's first members-only facility by an international luxury brand offers exclusive access to future residents of the 222-unit complex. The club features The Dining Room by chef Seung-jun Lee and The Roof by chef Edward Lee. Designed by Liaigre, it combines natural materials with contemporary architecture, reflecting Seoul's landscape. The full project involves US firm Olson Kundig and British architect David Chipperfield.

🏨 In Q3 2025, the U.S. hotel construction pipeline reached 6,205 projects/728,416 rooms, with a 1% increase in rooms year-over-year. The under-construction projects numbered 1,118 with 137,620 rooms. Upper-midscale and upscale chain scales represented 59% of all projects. Extended-stay hotels accounted for 40% of projects. Brand conversions hit a record with 1,477 projects/148,035 rooms, up 18% by projects YOY. By year-end 2025, 692 new hotels/79,847 rooms are expected, with growth rates of 1.4% for 2025.

🏨 Radisson Hotel Group will add the New Bath Hotel and Spa in Matlock, Derbyshire to its Individuals portfolio in December 2025. Situated near the Peak District National Park, this 18th-century, 54-room hotel features a spring-fed outdoor lido, two restaurants, and event spaces for up to 150 guests. Located within an hour of Nottingham and Sheffield, it's perfect for leisure and corporate guests. The hotel is undergoing a transformation under Deventure Hotels and Resorts.

🏨 Whitbread secured planning permission on 28 October 2025 for a new 174-room Premier Inn hotel east of Cork city centre. Construction starts in early 2026. The aim is to reach 5,000 rooms across Ireland, up from over 800 rooms in six hotels currently. The first Cork property opened two years prior at Morrisons Quay. Future developments include Dublin sites at O’Connell and Jervis Streets opening in 2027, with more underway in regional locations.
