🏨 Azul Hospitality Group, Phoenix, January 2027: Managing a dual-branded Marriott property, featuring a 142-room AC Hotel and a 98-room Element by Westin, under construction since summer. The eight-story City North project is a venture by LaPour Partners and Holualoa Companies, including a resort-style pool, fitness center, 5,000+ sq ft of meeting space, and two dining outlets. Designed for the Desert Ridge corridor, it will enhance access to local amenities and cater to business and leisure guests.

InterContinental Sapporo debuts in Japan’s Hokkaido

a&o Hostels expands with first London location

A&O Hostels acquires first London hotel

🏨 A&O Hostels has acquired the former DoubleTree by Hilton, Docklands Riverside, marking its first London property and third in the UK. Opening under the A&O flag in November, the hotel features 500 rooms, 2,100 beds, and will undergo a £21m refurbishment while remaining open. Guests benefit from free electric river cab service to Canary Wharf. A €500m (£436m) budget is set for property upgrades starting Spring 2024, in partnership with StepStone Group and Proprium Capital Partners.

The bar operates Monday to Saturday, 3 pm to midnight.

Waterman House to become AMANO’s second London Hotel
