📍 W Hotels completed a $100 million transformation of W New York – Union Square, a 256-room hotel in NYC, reimagining the historic Guardian Life Building. Enhancements include redesigned rooms, Grand Central-inspired Living Room, and new dining venues like Seahorse, a seafood brasserie by Chef John Villa, featuring Italian and Japanese cuisines. The rooftop bar offers skyline views, and FIT wellness space now has a Peloton Studio. Meeting/event areas cover 2,587 sq ft, including four Studios with Union Square views.

🏨 Sheraton Boston marks its 60th anniversary with a $100 million renovation, transforming guestrooms, public spaces, and dining venues. The redesign captures Boston’s tavern spirit with updated lobbies, flexible meeting rooms, and a refreshed pool area. Features include Sheraton Signature Beds, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a 24-hour fitness studio. In September, Marriott Bonvoy members access The Sheraton Club, offering meals and concierge support. This renovation aligns with Sheraton’s global transformation across 70+ properties.

🏨 Mandarin Oriental is set to open a luxury hotel in Seoul's Central Business District by 2030. Featuring 128 rooms and suites with a residential feel, it will include event spaces like a grand ballroom and outdoor terrace. Dining options span a 21st-floor restaurant with city views and a Korean Chef’s Counter. The Spa will integrate Korean traditions. Amenities include a 25-meter pool, fitness center, golf academy, and kids' club, marking a significant milestone in Mandarin Oriental's international growth.

🍴 Jeopardy Hospitality reopened The General Tarleton, an 18th-century coaching inn in Ferrensby, North Yorkshire, after a full refurbishment. This marks the group's first project, led by Tommy Banks, Matthew Lockwood, James Banks, and Neil Armstrong. The inn, near Harrogate and Knaresborough, offers eight bedrooms, a private dining room, a bar, and a terrace. Executive chef Aled Williams leads a menu blending pub classics and contemporary techniques. The wine list features 40 bottles, with over 20 available by the glass.

🏨 Brightstar Hospitality launched a 51-bedroom Garner hotel in Acocks Green, Birmingham. Formerly Bridge House Hotel, it underwent extensive refurbishment. Located 15 minutes from the city center, it’s 5.5 miles from the airport and 7 miles from NEC. The hotel offers a bar, restaurant, and meeting space for 100 delegates. Brightstar operates 23 UK hotels, with more developments planned. CEO Nikhil Gupta emphasizes Garner’s modern aesthetic and warm hospitality.

🏨 Preferred Hotels & Resorts, the largest independent hotel brand, added 18 new properties globally between April 1 and June 30, 2025. Highlights include hotels in Singapore, Italy, Texas, China, and Austria. Members of the I Prefer Hotel Rewards can earn 2,500 bonus points on eligible stays at these hotels. 🌴 Aman is set to open its first Mexican resort, Amanvari, in spring 2026 on the East Cape of Baja California. The resort spans 18 keys and is part of the 1,500-acre Costa Palmas estate. Designed by Heah & Co. and Elastic Architects, it features casitas with views of the Sea of Cortéz and a golf course. Amenities include diverse dining options, an Aman Spa, and access to snorkeling, hiking, and more. Amanvari joins Aman’s portfolio in the Americas.

🍴 Executive chef Yoshi Okai, known for Austin's Otoko, leads Hai Sí, a new izakaya in Aspen, Colorado. The restaurant is a collaboration between New Waterloo and Infinite Hospitality, showcasing a fusion of Japanese and Spanish cuisines.
