🏨 Wyndham Hotels & Resorts partners with Cygnett Hotels & Resorts to expand in India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Nepal over the next 10 years. The strategic alliance aims to introduce 60 hotels, including over 50 La Quinta by Wyndham and 10 Registry Collection Hotels, with openings starting in 2026. This initiative addresses growing travel demand in the region, leveraging Cygnett’s network and Wyndham's brand strength to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Currently, Wyndham operates over 70 hotels in these countries.

🏨 The former Cambria Hotel Washington D.C. Convention Center reopens as Hyatt House Washington DC Downtown Convention Center. This 184-room hotel at 899 O Street NW, near the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, is developed by Frontier Development & Hospitality Group with Basis Investment Group and operated by Donohoe Hospitality. A 157-seat rooftop bar with 360-degree views will open in the fall. The hotel is part of the World of Hyatt loyalty program.

🏨 Hilton, a leading hotel chain, hit a milestone with over 500 open hotels in Florida. In 2024, the state recorded 143 million visitors, aiding Hilton's growth. Hilton is expanding its lifestyle brands, with new Tempo by Hilton properties in Pensacola, St. Petersburg, and Fort Myers, and Canopy by Hilton in Miami and Fort Lauderdale. Key lifestyle hotels include Thesis Hotel Miami Coral Gables and The Hiatus Clearwater Beach. Hilton's Florida portfolio spans 17 brands with nearly 140 new properties planned.

🏠 LivAway Suites announced a new property in Tucson, Arizona, marking its fourth in the state over six months. Opening in summer 2026, it's located near Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, home to 11,000 airmen, and the University of Arizona with 57,000 students. Nearby facilities include Banner University Medical Center South and major employers Raytheon and Caterpillar Inc., employing over 12,000. The expansion aligns with Tucson’s economic growth, with plans for 12 more hotels in Arizona.

🏨 Dorint Hotelgroup is launching a significant project in Vienna, Austria, marking its return after nearly two decades. The 35-storey Dorint Hotel Weitblick, located in the “Viertel Zwei” district, will offer 298 rooms, including 28 long-stay options. Scheduled for 2028, it features sustainable architecture with zero-CO2 energy. Positioned between Messe Wien and Ernst-Happel-Stadion, this expansion strengthens Dorint's presence in the DACH region, complementing existing hotels in Salzburg and Kitzbühel.
