AX Hotels opens Malta’s first integrated wellness retreat

🏨 AX Hotels' Verdala Wellness Hotel opened as Malta’s first integrated wellness retreat, located above Rabat’s valleys. The adults-only, 46-room hotel includes a 1,500 sq m spa with seven treatment rooms. Wellness facilities feature a hammam, meditation areas, and holistic therapies. Dining is led by Michelin-star chef Victor Borg with anti-inflammatory menus. The hotel, part of the AX Privilege Collection, targets the booming wellness tourism sector, according to commercial director Josef Sant.

London’s Grade I-listed Custom House to be converted into 179-room hotel

Former HMRC offices will feature a spa, health centre, and dining outlets. A 2,400 sq m public riverside space will replace the car park, offering 24/7 Thames access. Part of the 'Destination City' strategy aims to increase hotel rooms from 4,800. Chairman Tom Sleigh emphasized public access and the building's rejuvenation.

The Hoxton expands into Ireland with Dublin hotel

Islyn Studio designs hotel as “sanctuary for solo travellers” in New York

Guests enjoy self-check-in, communal bathrooms, and amenities like sound machines and noise-cancelling headphones. Now Now is longlisted for the Dezeen Awards 2025 in hotel and short-stay interior categories.

Kali Hotel tops out at Hollywood Park in Inglewood

🏨 KPC Development's Kali Hotel and Rooftop in Inglewood has completed its structural frame. The $300m project, part of Marriott’s Autograph Collection, will feature 300 rooms and open in September 2026. Key amenities include 34 suites, a spa, pool, fitness center, and a 12th-floor restaurant. Located in Hollywood Park, the 300-acre development includes SoFi Stadium and will host the 2028 global sports event's Broadcast Center. Construction began less than 11 months ago.
