🛫 H World Group, led by CEO Jin Hui, is expanding hotel development into lower-tier cities and rural areas in China. This move aligns with improved transport infrastructure, such as faster trains and better flight connectivity. The strategy aims to meet growing demand outside major cities, positioning these areas as new tourism growth engines. H World is betting on increased tourism consumption in these regions by launching new properties.

🏨 Crescent Hotels & Resorts added La Posada de Santa Fe, a Tribute Portfolio Resort & Spa, to its portfolio. Located in downtown Santa Fe, New Mexico, this Victorian-style hotel offers 157 rooms, including Pueblo Revival-style adobe casitas. Amenities include a spa, salon, heated outdoor pool, and hot tub. The property is near the Plaza, providing access to local shops and galleries, and features a dedicated art curator showcasing Southwestern art.

🏨 Bourn Companies celebrated the topping out of Tempo by Hilton Tucson Uptown, a 144-guestroom hotel in Tucson, Arizona. The five-story hotel is set to open in January 2027. The pet-friendly venue will feature 3,000 square feet of meeting space, a boardroom, a bar, an outdoor pool, and a fitness center. The hotel will be managed by Valencia Hotel Group, with EBCO General Contractors and Mayse & Associates involved in the project.

🏨 Garner Hotels, a midscale conversion brand by IHG, has rapidly expanded since its 2023 inception, reaching 100 hotels globally. By 2025, it led IHG's hotel launches in the EMEAA region with 43 openings, including its UK debut in Preston. In the Americas, Garner opened 23 hotels, ranking third among IHG brands. It aims for twofold growth, with plans to enter China by 2026 and an active pipeline of nearly 80 hotels.

🏨 Bookings are open for The Kithmore, a 44-bed boutique hotel in St Andrews, set to open in June. The £7.5 million redevelopment involved restoring three 19th Century townhouses originally designed by architect George Rae in 1847. Located on Playfair Terrace, a new extension and renovations include a standalone bar and restaurant. Recruitment for senior management is underway. The hotel aims to provide a luxurious yet welcoming retreat inspired by the Scots word ‘kith’.

🏠 Bob W will open an 84-unit serviced apartment property in Belfast, Northern Ireland, in Q2 2026. Located at 57 Dublin Road, the 3,742 sqm building features fully furnished apartments with kitchens and smart technology. The site offers a gym, rooftop garden, and café. Positioned centrally with accessible public transport via Belfast Grand Central Station, it supports digital and remote guest services. This marks Bob W's entry into Ireland, emphasizing sustainability and modern traveler needs.

🏨 Corinthia Hotels is partnering with ShiLong Industry Co. and The Geminus Group to develop Corinthia Chengdu, set to open in 2032 in Chengdu's Gaoxin District. The development includes a mixed-use tower with 150 rooms, 60 branded residences, and additional retail, residential, and commercial spaces, totaling an investment of RMB 4.0 billion. Located at Tianfu Avenue and Tianfu First Street, this project marks Corinthia's entry into China, aiming to blend luxury with Chengdu's local culture.

🏨 Charlestowne Hotels is expanding across the Midwest, Southeast, and Mountain West with projects through 2028. Hotel Flora in Santa Fe, NM, opens July 2026 with 27 rooms; Hotel Laureum in Milwaukee, WI, follows in June 2027 with 35 rooms. The Inn at Aspen, CO reopened in January 2026 after renovations. The Livery Guesthouse in Tarpon Springs, FL, opens April 2026 with a staffless model. A 50-room Charleston, SC hotel is planned for Fall 2028.

💰 Peachtree Group, in Atlanta, Georgia, originated a $103 million bridge loan for the Hilton Miami Beach Convention Center Hotel. The 289-key redevelopment project, located in Miami Beach, Florida, is on the historic Collins Park Hotel site. The site, originally built between 1938-1953, is recognized by the Miami Beach Historic Preservation Board. The hotel is expected to open in May 2026, near the Miami Beach Convention Center and the ocean.

🏨 Corinthia Hotels, partnering with ShiLong Industry and Geminus Group, plans to open a luxury hotel and branded residences in Chengdu, China, by 2032. Located in the Gaoxin District, the 225m mixed-use tower will feature 150 rooms, 60 residences, and retail/commercial spaces, with a total investment of RMB 4 billion. It’s Corinthia’s first venture into China, aligning with their international expansion strategy and sustainability standards. Construction is ongoing, aiming to blend global service excellence with local culture.
