🚨 Louvre Hotels Group aims to renovate 80% of its hotels by 2028, investing €300 million over three years. In 2025, over 70 company-operated hotels and 130 franchised properties across France and Europe were renovated, boosting market share by 10 points. The Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region hosts over 100 hotels, including 40 Campanile and 35 Kyriad properties. Recent renovations include Campanile PRIME Lyon Centre Gare Part-Dieu with 173 rooms, and new openings are planned through 2027.

🏨 Dalata Hotel Group will expand its London portfolio by leasing a new four-star Maldron hotel in Kensington, increasing its sites to seven. The 370-room hotel, adjacent to Olympia London, will open in 2029 pending planning approval. The all-electric building aims for BREEAM Excellent accreditation. Dalata plans to open additional hotels in Dublin, Berlin, and Edinburgh by December 31, 2026. The redeveloped Olympia area expects 12 million annual visitors, with strong transport links.

🏨 The Francis Hotel in Bath unveiled a new spa, completing a £14 million renovation of its Georgian property. Located on Queen Square, the spa features three treatment rooms, a relaxation area, and Bath's only private thermal experience suite. This includes a foam steam bath, shower circuit, and heated bench. Guests can enjoy holistic rituals, reflexology, and Reiki. 🍲 The Mayfair Chippy, an award-winning British restaurant, is opening its first international location in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in Spring/Summer 2026. Situated in the Tuwaiq Gate development on King Fahad Road, the 3,500 sq ft restaurant will feature 70 covers. It combines British and Middle Eastern design elements. Known for modern British comfort food and seafood, the Riyadh branch marks the brand's initial step beyond the UK, with more international sites planned.

🎪 Nikjoo and Fare Inc transformed a former department store in Peckham, South London, constructed in 1897, into the Peckham Palais with a cocktail bar and events space. After being vacant for nearly 15 years, the building now features a 270-capacity cocktail bar and a 470-capacity nightclub. Fare Inc aimed to reflect the 1980s era with vintage details, while Nikjoo ensured modern safety standards. The design preserves historical elements like graffiti on windows and chipped paint.

🏖 Hyatt Hotels Corp. plans to open Hyatt Ziva Punta Cana, an all-inclusive resort, by 2029 in the Dominican Republic. Located 40 minutes from Punta Cana International Airport, it will feature 650 guestrooms, five specialty restaurants, six bars, a spa, and various recreational facilities. This expansion reflects Hyatt's strategy, already operating 34 hotels in the country, with a focus on family-friendly experiences. The development is in partnership with Codelpa.
