RMS appoints Rich Steers as Chief Product & Technology Officer to accelerate product innovation

Melbourne, Australia, 21 July 2026 – Leading hospitality platform RMS has announced the appointment of Rich Steers as Chief Product & Technology Officer (CPTO), further strengthening its executive leadership team as the company continues to invest in product innovation and global growth.

Rich joins RMS with more than 25 years’ experience building and scaling SaaS platforms across product, engineering and technology. Most recently, he served as CPTO at ROLLER, the category leading cloud-based venue management platform for attractions and entertainment businesses, where he led global product and engineering teams, driving the development of AI-powered solutions and enterprise software that expanded the business to thousands of venues worldwide. 

Earlier in his career, Rich held senior technology and product leadership roles across hospitality, fintech and enterprise software, leading teams responsible for e-commerce, customer data platforms, loyalty, payments, platform integrations and content management systems. He also founded, scaled and successfully exited a hospitality point-of-sale software company before moving into executive leadership roles.

As CPTO at RMS, Rich will lead the global product and technology strategy, driving the platform’s shift from a system of record to a system of intelligent action. He will focus on accelerating innovation, enhancing the customer experience, and delivering the next generation of connected technology that helps accommodation providers operate more efficiently and grow their businesses.

Rich’s appointment reinforces RMS’ commitment to expanding its leadership team as the company continues to strengthen its position as a global hospitality technology provider. Working alongside CEO Adam Seskis and the executive team, Rich will play a key role in shaping the future direction of the platform as RMS continues to invest in AI, automation, payments and connected hospitality solutions.
