ATHENS – 28 July 2026 — IDeaS, a SAS company and the world’s leading provider of AI-powered hospitality revenue management software, today announced Donkey Hotels & Resorts is continuing to strengthen its revenue performance and commercial approach through its use of IDeaS G3 Revenue Management System (RMS) across four properties within its portfolio of luxury and lifestyle hotels in Greece.

Donkey Hotels & Resorts operates a portfolio of premium hospitality properties in Athens and Santorini, including boutique Design Hotels and internationally recognized luxury assets. Catering to a diverse mix of individual leisure travelers, luxury travel advisors, corporate guests and selected group business, the portfolio attracts visitors from key international markets including the United States, United Kingdom, Europe and select Asian markets.

As its portfolio expanded, Donkey Hotels & Resorts sought a more scalable approach to pricing, forecasting and revenue optimization. Increasing market volatility, evolving traveler demand and growing portfolio complexity created an opportunity to move beyond manual processes and equip teams with deeper insights to support faster, more strategic commercial decisions.

Prior to implementing IDeaS, revenue management activities were time-intensive and dependent upon a combination of manual pricing reviews, competitor monitoring and custom-built forecasting and reporting tools. While effective, the process was strained by scale and required significant time and oversight across multiple properties and limited the team’s ability to focus on broader commercial strategy and market opportunities.

With the implementation of IDeaS G3 RMS at the Semiramis, NEW Hotel, Periscope and NOŪS Santorini properties, Donkey Hotels & Resorts has benefited from:

  • Confident, data-driven pricing across the portfolio
  • Greater forecasting visibility to support faster, more confident reactions to changing market conditions
  • Reduced manual workload by streamlining pricing analyses and reporting processes
  • Faster, more informed commercial decisions with integrated benchmarking, pace analysis and forecasting tools
  • More time for strategic focus as revenue teams shift away from repetitive tactical work and toward higher-value analysis

Since implementation, Donkey Hotels & Resorts has reported year-on-year revenue growth across the four participating properties, with multiple properties also seeing improvements in Revenue Generation Index (RGI).

The revenue management team has particularly valued G3 RMS’ automated pricing capabilities, straight-line availability alerts, year-over-year pace analysis, forecasting functionality and competitor benchmarking tools, all of which support faster, proactive revenue strategies and more effective day-to-day commercial decisions.

Michael Horianos, cluster director of revenue at Donkey Hotels & Resorts, said: “IDeaS offered the right balance between automation and flexibility for our business while integrating effectively into our existing systems and workflows. Since implementation, we’ve improved pricing consistency, gained greater forecasting visibility and significantly reduced manual workload across the team. This has allowed us to focus more time on strategic analysis, market positioning and long-term commercial growth.”

Michael McCartan, area vice president, EMEA at IDeaS, said: “Luxury and lifestyle hospitality operators require agile, intelligent revenue strategies to remain competitive in a fast-changing global market. We’re delighted to support Donkey Hotels & Resorts as they continue strengthening their commercial capabilities across their impressive portfolio. By leveraging the power of G3 RMS, their team is well-positioned to drive sustained revenue performance and long-term growth.”
