Aimbridge to manage six-hotel portfolio in Mexico

🏨 Aimbridge Hospitality, starting in 2026, will manage six hotels in Mexico, rebranding them under the voco label. The properties, in Cancún, Guadalajara, Ciudad Juárez, San Luis Potosí, Nuevo Laredo, and Torreón, will undergo significant renovations. Real Inn Cancún, Guadalajara Expo, and Ciudad Juárez, with 160, 163, and 150 rooms respectively, will reopen in April 2026. The others will relaunch in October 2026. This expands Aimbridge’s voco presence to 10 North American hotels.

Adina to open new aparthotel in Glasgow’s Wellington House

🏨 On 8 December 2025, The Wellington Glasgow by Adina will open in a converted 19th-century building on Wellington Street, marking TFE Hotels' second UK launch within a month. This follows the November debut of The Hobson Cambridge by Adina. The Glasgow aparthotel features 98 apartments, a gym, and conference facilities. Each apartment includes kitchenettes and dining spaces. Ray Goertz and Moritz Klein highlight Glasgow's appeal for Adina's casual-living concept, blending heritage with modern amenities.

Hyatt to open 204-room Regency hotel at Olympia in spring 2026

🏨 Hyatt is set to open the 204-room Hyatt Regency London Olympia in spring 2026 in Emberton House, formerly Europe's largest multi-storey car park. Located in west London, the hotel is part of a £1.3bn redevelopment project. The site will feature two food outlets, a fitness center, and meeting rooms. The wider Olympia redevelopment will offer 30 restaurants, a theatre, and a live music venue. The Regency brand targets business and leisure travelers in Kensington.

Duke Street Boutique Hotel reopens under new owners

🛳️ Duke Street Boutique Hotel in Liverpool reopened a month after being acquired by Golding Group for £2.25 million. Previously on the market for nine months, the hotel underwent a cosmetic refurbishment, featuring a redesigned reception and residents' bar, and transitioned to a fully staffed model. Golding Group, which also owns 62 Castle Street Hotel and accommodations on Lime Street, is excited about this new addition to their portfolio.

The 4,800-square-foot venue combines a Japanese izakaya with an American gastropub, offering dishes like kalbi tacos and wagyu sliders. Interiors feature modern Vegas aesthetics, with neon accents and mural art. The bar serves cocktails such as Matcha Colada and offers Japanese whisky, beer, and sake. Open daily from noon to midnight, it caters to both daytime and late-night guests.

Mexico’s ViCa Hospitality Group makes its United States debut with Rò Steakhouse in Coral Gables, Florida

🍳 Rò Steakhouse launched on October 27 in Coral Gables, Florida, marking ViCa Hospitality Group's first U.S. venture. The restaurant seats 130 indoors, with an outdoor terrace opening soon. Designed with a natural, cave-like ambiance by Arkham Projects, Rò features a menu curated by Chef Marcelo Palacios, including seafood, tacos, and fire-cooked steaks ranging from 8-ounce filets to a 36-ounce tomahawk. The restaurant also offers private wine lockers for guests. ViCa plans further U.S. expansions.

Hollywood landmark Yamashiro has opened in Miami, with more locations to come

🍴 Yamashiro, established in the Hollywood Hills in 1914, expanded to a new Miami location on October 29, after 111 years. Boulevard Hospitality Group leads the expansion with a 9,000-square-foot rooftop restaurant at Gale Miami Hotel. The menu, crafted by chefs Charbel Hayek and Gustavo Montes, blends Japanese and Miami flavors. Features include Japanese-inspired design and cocktails. Future expansions are planned for the East Coast by late 2026, with two new locations in development.

The St. Anthony Hotel Announces Upcoming Opening of Esencia

Barings Partners with Waterton to Invest in Three Outbound Hotels

🏖 CHARLOTTE and CHICAGO—Barings and Waterton recapitalize two Outbound Hotels: The Virginian Lodge in Jackson, Wyoming, and Outbound Stowe in Vermont. Poco Diablo Resort in Sedona, Arizona, acquired in December 2024, will reopen as Outbound Sedona in Q2 2026. The Virginian Lodge offers 165 rooms in Jackson Hole; Outbound Stowe has 76 rooms in Vermont's Green Mountains. Management by CoralTree Hospitality includes Outbound Mammoth and Outbound Yosemite.

Waldorf Astoria Admiralty Arch unveils signature restaurants

🏨 Clare Smyth and Daniel Boulud will open two signature restaurants at Waldorf Astoria London Admiralty Arch in 2026. Smyth will lead Coreus, focusing on British seafood in the former First Sea Lord's residence, featuring a Whiskey and Seaweed bar. Boulud’s Café Boulud will offer French cuisine with a terrace overlooking The Mall and Buckingham Palace. The hotel will feature 100 rooms and suites and 17,500 sq ft of residences, located in a Grade I-listed landmark.
