🏨 Accor expands in Greek luxury hospitality with Athens Capital Suites – MGallery Collection, adding 19 suites and a presidential suite, totaling 177 rooms, near Syntagma Square, Athens. This marks the first standalone MGallery Suites globally. A new MGallery hotel in Chania, Crete, with 201 rooms is planned for 2026, alongside the Elatos Resort return. Accor’s focus is on cultural integration and immersive guest experiences, enhancing Greece’s role in its European luxury expansion strategy.

🏨 Accor plans multiple hotel openings for 2025 across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Southern Europe, Asia, Asia-Pacific, and the Americas. Key locations include Fairmont Golden Prague (320 rooms), Fairmont La Hacienda Costa del Sol (311 rooms) in Spain, and Banyan Tree Escape in Tanzania. In total, over 60 new properties will open, emphasizing luxury and sustainability. Notable innovations include the "Smart House" concept and "Coliving by Adagio." The Adagio Original London City East offers 132 units.

🏖️ Kimpton Hotels, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, plans to open its first resort in Portugal, Kimpton Atlântico Algarve, in 2025. Located on São Rafael Beach in Albufeira, the resort will feature 149 rooms and suites with interiors by Nini Andrade Silva. The property offers a 1,800 sqm Wellness Hub and diverse dining options. IHG operates 19 hotels across six brands in Portugal, with 66 hotels open in the Iberian Peninsula and 26 more in development.

🏨 Accor plans to open three new hotels in Madrid in 2025: Ibis Styles Madrid Airport Valdebebas (260 rooms), Ibis Madrid Norte Las Tablas (148 rooms), and Ibis Budget Madrid Albasanz (101 rooms), totaling 509 rooms. This expansion will increase Accor's presence in Madrid, where it had 25 hotels by 2024. 🏨 Shangri-La Group unveiled its ultra-luxury brand, Shangri-La Signatures, in Hangzhou with The Silk Lakehouse. Opened in the former Xiling Hotel on UNESCO-listed West Lake, the property offers 68 rooms with scenic views and AI-responsive mattresses. Amenities include an indoor pool, four dining venues led by Michelin-starred chef Alan Yu, and a Personal Host Programme for customized activities. Future Shangri-La Signatures properties will focus on immersive experiences rooted in local heritage.

🏨 A-1 Hospitality Group has commenced construction on a 163-room AC Hotels by Marriott in Kennewick, Washington, at the Three Rivers Convention Center. The five-story hotel will feature amenities such as an indoor pool, fitness center, rooftop restaurant and bar, and six meeting rooms covering 12,000 square feet for up to 450 guests. This project, part of a public-private partnership, aims to boost local economic growth. A-1 Hospitality operates 20 hotels across five states.

📶 Dense Air rebrands to IONX Networks, aiming to tackle mobile coverage issues like dropped calls and dead zones. CEO Jim Estes and CRO Mark Meuleman emphasize their commitment to improving connectivity for enterprises and operators using scalable, cost-effective solutions. IONX adopts a shared, multi-operator approach, integrating small cell technology and shared spectrum to enhance network performance. The rebrand includes a new visual identity and messaging focused on customer-centered solutions for seamless connectivity.

🏠 Caudwell collaborates with Hôtel Belles Rives to offer concierge services at Le Provençal, a former 1920s hotel in Juan-les-Pins, set for 2025 completion. The development includes 41 luxury residences, with prices between €4.5 million and €15 million (£3.85 million to £12.85 million). Services feature valet parking, spa bookings, and private beach access. Facilities include landscaped grounds, a swimming pool, and a health spa.
